Was Las Vegas a COUP Assassination Attempt Cover UP Gone Wrong?

CREDIT TO:  JoAnne Moretti – Proof Negative Radio Show: REAL Patriot News 11/6/17 (Archive Link) starts at 1hr 41 min into broadcast
Last night, I was on radio discussing the Las Vegas shooting and the connection to what is happening in Saudi Arabia.
They are connected.
I’ll start at the beginning.
There was a King Fasal who had a son, Prince Alwaleed, bin Talal.
King Fasal took ill and named his brother Salman as king in his place.
King Salman has named his son an heir to the throne, instead of his brother’s son Prince Al Waleed.
Al Waleed is a Wahabbi. Salman is Suni.
Wahabbi is extreme Islam.
Salman wanted a more modern, non extreme Islam for Saudi. That’s why he named his own son as heir.
In Las Vegas, Prince Al Waleed owned the upper floors of the Mandalay Bay resort, including the 32nd floor that was one of the points of shooting at the strip.
I say one of the places, because the witnesses were all correct. There were other locations too.
The Mandalay Bay has a heli-pad on the roof. That is important, because that was the escape route after the carnage.
Paddock was a pilot. He was also a gun runner between the Philippines and the US.
He was running guns for Prince Al Waleed.
He didn’t win at the casino. Those millions came from smuggling.
On the night of the attack, I found out that King Salman was in Las Vegas. (I didn’t know that part until after the show and I received a missing piece of info.
Salman was at the Tropicana.
Paddock was victim one.
Others were used to shoot at the country music venue.
That was to create chaos and distract from the real target over at the Tropicana.
Al Waleed’s assassins shot from Mandalay bay, but they also were at the Tropicana trying to kill Salman.
That explains why there were shooters on the ground as well as in the air.
Remember the videos of the helicopter fly over.
I asked why a helicopter would be there when there was a shooter high up.
It wasn’t news, or cops.
It was the assassins who ran up the stairs to the roof from the 32nd floor.
Remember they sealed the door to the stairwell?
Paddock had access to the service elevator, because the boss said he could use the elevator.
Nobody questioned him.
Meanwhile the assassination attempt on Salman failed.
Now we are seeing the result of the failed attempt.
It was not only an assassination attempt and a terror attack, but an attempted coup in Saudi.
This is why everyone shut up in Las Vegas.
The response is still ongoing.
You are watching it play out.
As I said, I spoke on air about this.
I will post links in comments to prove my story.
Las Vegas was definitely a terror attack.
Al Waleed, the owner of the suite was who is behind all of it.
All the witnesses citing multiple shooters all told the truth.
There were shootouts along the strip and in Mandalay Bay & Tropicana hotels.
The reason nobody is talking is it’s not over yet. No automatic alt text available.

Purge of Saudi princes, businessmen widens, travel curbs imposed

A campaign of mass arrests of Saudi Arabian royals, ministers and businessmen expanded on Monday after a top entrepreneur was reportedly detained in the biggest anti-corruption purge of the kingdom’s affluent elite in its modern history.
The reported arrest of Nasser bin Aqeel al-Tayyar followed the detention of dozens of top Saudis including billionaire investor Prince Alwaleed bin Talal in a crackdown that the attorney general described as “phase one”.
ASSETS FROZEN
Saudi banks have begun freezing suspects’ accounts, sources told Reuters.
Dozens of people have been detained in the crackdown, which have alarmed much of the traditional business establishment. Billionaire Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, Saudi Arabia’s best-known international investor, is also being held.

From the stately rows of palm trees on its 52-acre grounds to the grand double staircase to the glittering ballroom chandeliers, it is easy to see why the six-year-old Ritz-Carlton in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, has played host to billionaires, heads of state and members of the Saudi royal family.
Which is why it is all the more jarring that former government ministers, prominent businessmen and members of the royal family — the House of Saud — are being held captive in the five-star hotel, which was swiftly converted over the weekend into what is almost certainly the world’s most luxurious prison.

Prince Alwaleed bin Talal is still very wealthy, but even the mega-rich would balk at losing more than $1 billion in 48 hours.
His net worth fell to $17.8 billion after the market value of the Saudi investment firm he founded plummeted $1.3 billion this week. Kingdom Holding Co.’s stock closed on Monday at the lowest level since December 2011.

Trump: ‘Great confidence’ in Saudi anti-corruption push

In a two-part Twitter message sent from Tokyo, Trump said he has great confidence in King Salman and the crown prince, adding some of the arrested people “have been ‘milking’ their country for years!”
The Trump administration had been quiet about the unprecedented arrests of dozens of Saudi Arabia’s most powerful princes, military leaders and ministers, which are widely being seen as a consolidation of power by the nation’s 32-year-old crown prince, Mohammed bin Salman. The crackdown began Saturday with little warning.

Major hotels are being forced to grapple with politics in Saudi Arabia, China, and the U.S.
9:39 PM – 6 Nov 2017

Hotel Owners Ambushed by Saudi, Chinese, U.S. Geopolitics

Hotels used to be gauged by the campaign strategy that won the presidency for Bill Clinton: it’s the economy, stupid. Nowadays, politics may determine their future.
Here are some hotel companies caught up in shifting political winds globally:
Four Seasons – Prince Alwaleed, a prolific and longtime investor in luxury hotels and management companies, was detained on Saturday, one of several family members caught up in moves by Saudi Arabia’s King Salman to clear any remaining obstacles to his son, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, ascending to the throne.
Alwaleed and Bill Gates’s Cascade Investment LLC teamed up a decade ago to take Four Seasons private for about $3.8 billion
Hilton – Five months ago, another high-profile arrest, in China, of Anbang Insurance Group Co.Chairman Wu Xiaohui, raised doubts about whether Anbang would proceed with its plan to convert Manhattan’s landmark Waldorf Astoria hotel into luxury condominiums.
Strategic Hotels – Wu’s detention also raised questions about the future of Anbang’s Strategic Hotels unit, which it bought last year for about $5.5 billion. Strategic owns 15 resorts and hotels around the country, including the JW Marriott Essex House in New York and Westin St. Francis in San Francisco.
Trump Hotels – The U.S. presidential election a year ago — and the surprise victory of hotel owner Donald Trump — ushered in an era of politics over economics in hotel occupancy. His Washington property was a constant backdrop for campaign events and it got an immediate boost as political and business types, domestic and international, flocked to the Pennsylvania Avenue property after the election.
Marriott – In Saudi Arabia, Alwaleed and other Saudi princes are believed to be held at the five-star Riyadh Ritz-Carlton, which is owned by the Saudi government and operated by Marriott. A hotel employee who answered the phone cited “an unforeseen booking by local authorities” and said Marriott was assessing the situation.

Twitter is abuzz with the reports of death of yet another Saudi prince. Prince Abdul Aziz, 44, was the youngest son of King Fahd.
The ArabicAlIthad News later quoted a Saudi Royal Court release saying that the Saudi royal family mourned the death of the prince who died at 44. It however did not cite a reason for the death.

Billionaire Saudi Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal arrested in corruption crackdown

Saudi Arabia’s King Salman removed a host of prominent officials in a sweeping crackdown, in which dozens of princes and former ministers were detained. News outlets, including Saudi-owned Al Arabiya and The Wall Street Journal, reported Bin Talal was among those arrested. CNBC could not immediately confirm Bin Talal’s status.

Crown Prince gains power after sweeping purge of Saudi officials

They seemed untouchable. The head of a huge construction conglomerate. A prince who led Saudi Arabia’s elite national guard. A billionaire investor who was one of the richest people in the world.
But in one breathtaking stroke, the men were detained by the Saudi authorities in a purge that began Saturday night and swept up some of the most powerful and recognizable names in the country, including members of the Saudi royal family, cabinet ministers, titans of media and industry, and former officials. The detainees included Prince Alwaleed bin Talal, a wealthy investor who owns major stakes in such companies as Twitter and Citigroup, according to an associate of his family.

HERE’S WHAT HAPPENED LVMPD

(ID: MaEh0Stq) 4Chan
The LVMPD knows the motive behind the attack, but the FBI will not allow us to release the motive because it implicates the FBI in illegal arms deals and supplying arms to ISIS terrorists within U.S. borders.
Stephen Paddock was an undercover FBI agent who participated in multiple illegal arms deals in the Las Vegas area in a gun running entrapment scheme similar to Fast and Furious. Paddock thought he was engaging in another routine arms transfer, but ISIS had learned about the entrapment scheme and Paddock’s true identity. They killed him and carried out the massacre, and then fled the scene.
Everything is being kept under extreme wraps because 1) armed ISIS terrorists are still at large and 2) this is very embarrassing to the FBI and they don’t want their scheme to become public knowledge.
I will be posting further information throughout the day, people within LVMP are disgusted and are pushing for this information to be released to the public.

Remember too, Trump’s first visit abroad was to Saudi. Trump made a deal with Salman. Clean up the corruption. Cut off Al Waleed’s influence in the US political sphere and in return, Trump would support Salman and allow AMRCO to resume trading on the NY stock exchange. (1) An observation:   If rumors are true & this rolling of of corrupt Saudis will pull HALF A BILLION DOLLARS out of play?
(2) Remember how Trump was welcomed in Saudi Arabia?
 10:49 PM – 6 Nov 2017
(3) Well, first Mohammed bin Salman came to the US to meet Trump.
(4) It’s funny: Since March of 2015, the global press has reported that Mohammed bin Salman (MbS) is 32 years old.
(5) The press has opposed MbS from the beginning. The opposition is based on OSSIFICATION.
(6) Reporters run to fossils with minds stuck forever in 1983. This is what the fossils and the press want:
(7) First, the United States is to dominate Saudi Arabia. The fossils and the press can then complain about our imperialism.
(8) HOWEVER, the fossils and the press WANT American domination of Saudi Arabia because the Saudis are rich. That makes them EVIL.
(9) Also, the Saudis are ARABS, and Arabs must always KNOW THEIR PLACE.
(10) We in the west get to tell Arabs what to do. It’s the natural order of things.
(11) So when the US dominates Saudi Arabia, everybody is happy: the fossils, the press, and the CORRUPT SAUDI PRINCES.
(12) The corrupt Saudi princes are like George Soros. The only thing that stimulates them anymore is POWER.
(13) Now, the fossils and the press support Arab corruption because again, it’s the natural order of things. Arabs are corrupt. Period.
(14) Everything above is the status quo. Only corrupt Saudi princes and American politicians benefit.
(15) Now, MbS is the real thing. He’s a revolutionary. Not only that, he’s a HOLISTIC revolutionary. He’s changing everything.
(16) He is NOT consolidating power. Very soon, Saudis will have more freedom than they’ve ever had before.
(17) Saudi Arabia will become a center for high-tech industry. They already have hidden factories.
(18) In order for Saudi Arabia to thrive, it must be free. MbS is preparing Saudi Arabia for freedom. On THEIR terms.
(19) The fossils, the press, and corrupt American politicians oppose this for two reasons:
(20) One, it’s improvement. Improvement puts fossils, the press, and the corrupt out of jobs.
(21) And two, ARABS must not be allowed to become global leaders. They’re ARABS.
(22) I’ll say this bluntly but delicately: Everyone needs an N-word.
(23) Not EVERYONE, of course. My followers don’t need N-words.
(24) If the Arabs become global leaders, it destroys every narrative out there. HUGELY powerful forces don’t want the Arabs to lead.
(25) So I think MbS spoke to Trump about his plans, and Trump said, “I’ll support you 100 percent.”
(26) Think about the changes we’re seeing. They’re rocking the world. Right now, American support is crucial for the Saudis.
(27) Later, that support won’t be necessary. The Saudis will be a global superpower.
(28) I think Trump agreed to help the Saudis DESTROY THE PAST. And that’s why the Saudis are grateful…

Saudi Royalty Arrests Rock Clinton-Obama Regime

In a shocking development Saturday, the Saudi Arabian government arrested prominent billionaire Waleed bin Talal, a member of the royal Saudi family with deep ties to Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton. Arrests were carried out by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s recently-formed anti-corruption committee and included bin Talal, ten senior princes, and dozens of ministers for corruption and money laundering charges.
Bin Talal, a primary shareholder of CitigroupNews Corp., and Twitter, was arrested along with dozens of other princes and ministers on Saturday. Bin Talal’s arrest was part of a massive sweep of Saudi elites charged with corruption and money laundering by a newly formed anti-corruption committee headed by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. Meanwhile, Royal princes’ private planes have been grounded.

COMMENTS:
And all of the witnesses that have come forward are dying! That may have been the reason for Kushner’s visit to Saudi last week. – LBWillis
Nothing is certain as to the global implications yet, but this is what is going on –
First of all, I need to be clear I think the royal family consists entirely of corrupt idiots. The new crown prince (Salman) is no better than the rest. He’s the guy who gave a really simple sub Alexa or cell phone chat robot citizenship. Anyway HE IS DRAINING THE SAUDI SWAMP. No kidding. The elites in America are flipping out because he is jailing family members they were in bed with. Hillary’s saudi contacts are gone.
Ok, so why would this be a big deal? Easy answer: Because Israel flipped out and is now having huge military drills of unprecedented scale with 9 other countries. I am not going to say Saudi Arabia will be better off with the new guy, but Israel is not happy at all, and that can’t be half bad for the world, unless they go “Sampson”.
Saudi Arabia has also claimed Lebanon declared war on them. Doubt it, but whew! Who controls Lebanon? Are they in reality just a dummy puppet for Israel? Probably. So the whole thing is a powder keg, and the new crown prince is sleeping on it. You can’t just oust pals of Soros, Bush, and the Clintons and not see consequences.
Bannon at Brietbart had this to say:
I’ve got to tell you, for all the elites out in the world, the Party of Davos guys are sitting there today gobsmacked, absolutely shocked. The largest financier in the Arab world, the Muslim world, is Prince Alwaleed. He’s got stakes in just about every high-tech company. He’s a huge partner of Rupert Murdoch. When he came to the United States back in the early nineties, he was actually a client of my firm as he got into Hollywood; he got into media. He owns a huge stake in Citicorp, he saved Citicorp from going bankrupt.”
People are stunned today that he was put under house arrest, put under arrest yesterday in Saudi Arabia, in this situation of what they called corruption, money laundering, et cetera. People are thinking this is directly tied to the financing of the Muslim Brotherhood, this whole thing about cleaning up Saudi Arabia to take care of this. You’re going to see a lot of changes. This thing is far, far from over. You’re at the top of the first inning. You’re probably at the first batter.” – SLaFonda
Did I hear the Lebanese Prime Minister just resigned – ARein

Paddock is the contact man to supply the guns. He meets a couple of assassins ahead of time (remember, the shooting starts at 10:05). At this point, Paddock is thinking this is a gun deal. Only a few magazines are loaded. He merely wants to show the customers how to load the chamber etc… What he doesn’t know is that the advance team was sent to secure the floor. That all but one entry point to the floor would be barricaded (crucial since the reason Campos becomes suspicious of the blocked doors is what ultimately leads him to investigate) The reason for the barricade is that once the assault starts, the assassins want to make sure to impede the authorities as much as possible from reaching the top floors.
CIA/FBI (or Trump’s own intelligence) got wind of the assassination that was about to take place. Immediate action is taken to round up the assassins. Remember, we’re talking about an army of assassins here. You can’t kill a Crown Prince who’s protected by 30 armed bodyguards by pulling a Jack Ruby. I estimate at least 20 assassins in total.
What the assassins didn’t know was that the prince had disguised himself as a regular dude to enjoy the nightlife in Vegas. (Saudi princes have been known to do this) He had slipped away from the Mandalay and was at the Tropicana playing some cards. As soon as the FBI (or some other agency) learned of the assassination plot, they stormed the Tropicana and extracted the prince. The video can be seen here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YVHmshtmDqo They lead him out of the casino and escort him to the nearest helipad to be picked up. BUT, on the way, they encounter some resistance from a few assassins. Hence the firefight at the airport. Eventually, he makes it to the chopper and is whisked away.
Meanwhile, the FBI has gathered up as many of the assassins as they can. A few are armed with sidearms. They don’t have rifles yet because the rendezvous with Paddock hasn’t occurred yet. Hence the random firefights at various casinos that night. A few are killed. Hence the Laura Loomer videos of covered up dead people. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oxAZIpSUuM
The assassins already in Paddock’s room gets a call. They are told that the Prince is not in his suite above. That he’s being escorted out of the Tropicana. They start panicking. If they get caught in this plot to assassinate the crown prince, not only are they dead, but their employer is dead as well. They come up with a plan. They will kill Paddock and start firing on the crowd below. They’re gonna make him a crazy lone gunman. So they kill Paddock. They break a window. They pick up a rifle and start firing at the crowd below. After a couple of mags, they realize that the other mags aren’t loaded! Holy fuck. They start reloading as fast as possible. This is why the average time between bursts of fire is over 40 seconds. One of them gets an idea. Let me go to the other room and break that window and shoot at the fuel tanks at a nearby airport. This will draw the police away from the Mandalay and they can escape. So he goes and attempts just that. Unfortunately, the tanks do not blow up. By this time, Jesus Campos is knocking on the door. So they just unload on him. This is why there are (supposedly) 200 shots through the door. Campos escapes a lethal shot and calls in security.
Now the assassins are getting nervous. They realize that someone in the hotel knows that someone is firing. They fire as much as they can. They are thinking as soon as this barrage is done, we run. But the swat team starts knocking on the door. Fuck. The assassins realize they’re screwed. So the first one shoots himself. (This is the first of the single shots you hear at the end). The second assassin isn’t so sure. He doesn’t want to die. So after 10 seconds of courage gathering, he shoots himself as well.
The SWAT team bursts in and finds 3 bodies. They start asking questions. But because the FBI is already there (remember, they extracted the prince) they take over. They quickly assess the situation. They realize the implications. They remove the 2 assassins bodies, take a picture of Paddock lying there, and release it to 4chan to solidify their narrative.
Paddock is made the patsy. Why? Because if a failed Saudi assassination attempt was responsible for the deaths, if the FBI/CIA had supplied the guns that killed 58 innocent people (not counting Paddock since he’s an asset), then two things would happen. One, we would demand that we go to war with Saudi Arabia. And two, which ever organization that Paddock worked for would be utterly dismantled. – SNolen

It makes sense… more sense than the official story…  Terrifying that foreign politics are playing out here.
But of course, it wouldn’t be the first time. the PLO killed Israeli politician Meir Kahane in New York… the commies assassinated Franz Ferdinand at Sarajevo (it was part of his empire, but thought of as foreign, since it wasn’t austria proper)… Antony was killed in Egypt (well, I think he killed himself before they got to him, but still…)…

As a Vet and former specwar guy…I could tell right away that there was multiple shooters using belt fed weapons and that the MSM was once again lying to us.
As more & more information poured into me…it became apparent that other hotels were affected as well.
I spread this knowledge within hours of the event to…people that I’m connected with…who also in turn brought me more “dots”.
This post is startling…some of which was the first time I’ve heard some of the details within it…though I knew about the helicopters already.
(I had stopped paying close attention to this once I saw We the People knew that it was a False Flag and were on it.)
Everyone should copy/paste…don’t just “share” it.
Propagate this information people…and let We the People fully peer review it as we force our independent news outlet’s out there to address it as well.
It’s up to US to bring Justice for our fellow citizens who were sacrificed there…we are now their voices.

From the “seed” of US Naval Intelligence officer John Beliveau, this report continues, General’s Kelly and Flynnwere able to begin “growing the tree” to destroy this vile nest of 9/11 attack accomplices (now called the “Fat Leonard Scandal”)—and that greatly accelerated under the leadership of President Trump with his ordering, this past June, the first charges to be filed against these monsters under US military law—and who just hours ago, too, began targeting over 440 US Navy officials, including 60 of Americas 221 Navy Admirals. – JPiper

THE SAUDI - LAS VEGAS CONNECTION

Now here's an interesting connection I found on a friends wall.
I'm not saying it's hard fact or evidence - just an interesting scenario!
Copied and pasted...
"Last night, I was on radio discussing the Las Vegas shooting and the connection to what is happening in Saudi Arabia.
They are connected.
I'll start at the beginning.
There was a King Fasal who had a son, Prince Alwaleed, bin Talal.
King Fasal took ill and named his brother Salman as king in his place.
King Salman has named his son and heir to the throne, instead of his brother's son Prince Al Waleed.
Al Waleed is a Wahabbi. Salman is a Sunni.
Wahabbism is extreme Islam.
Salman wanted a more modern, non extreme Islam for Saudia Arabia.
That's why he named his own son as heir.
In Las Vegas, Prince Al Waleed owned the upper floors of the Mandalay Bay resort hotel, including the 32nd floor.that was one of the points of the shooting at the strip.
I say one of the places, because the witnesses were all correct.
There were other locations too.
The Mandalay Bay has a helipad on the roof.
That is important, because that was the escape route after the carnage.
Paddock was a pilot.
He was also a gun runner between the Philippines and the US.
He was running guns for Prince Al Waleed.
He didn't win at the casino. Those millions came from smuggling.
On the night of the attack, I found out that King Salman was in Las Vegas.
(I didn't know that part until after the show and I received a missing piece of info.)
Salman was staying at the Tropicana.
The FBI knew Paddock was running guns.
They were tipped off.
They didn't know there was going to be an assassination attempt on Salman by Al Waleed just down the strip.
Paddock brought the guns as he usually did.
But instead of getting paid this time, he was killed.
He was victim one.
The guns were used to shoot at the country music venue.
That was to create chaos and distract from the real target over at the Tropicana.
Al Waleed's assassins shot from the Mandalay Bay, but they also were at the Tropicana trying to kill Salman.
That explains why there were shooters on the ground as well as in the air.
Remember the vids of the helicopter fly over?
I asked why a helicopter would be there when there was a shooter high up.
It wasn't a news reporter or cops.
It was the assassins who ran up the stairs to the roof from the 32nd floor.
Remember they sealed the door to the stairwell?
Paddock had access to the service elevator, because the boss said he could use it.
Nobody questioned him.
Meanwhile the assassination attempt on Salman failed.
Now we are seeing the result of the failed attempt.
It was not only an assassination attempt and a terror attack, but an attempted coup in Saudi Arabia.
This is why everyone shut up in Las Vegas.
The response is still ongoing.
You are watching it play out.
Las Vegas was definitely a terror attack.
Paddock was the gun runner.
Al Waleed, the owner of the suite was who is behind all of it.
All the witnesses citing multiple shooters all told the truth.
There were shootouts along the strip and in Mandalay Bay & Tropicana hotels. That was the king's bodyguards and the mercenaries shooting it out inside as the crowds of people were scattering.
The reason nobody is talking is because it's not over yet..... as the recent strange scenarios in Saudi Arabia testify."

The Aftermath

It seems Alwaleed was the main

culprit behind the Las Vegas

shooting?

Search warrant document shows 2nd ‘person of interest’ after Las Vegas shooting

Updated January 30, 2018 - 6:14 pm

A judge on Tuesday unsealed nearly 300 pages of search warrant records, including one document that publicly identified for the first time an additional “person of interest” in the Oct. 1 massacre on the Las Vegas Strip.

“Until the investigation can rule otherwise, Marilou Danley and Douglas Haig have become persons of interest who may have conspired with Stephen Paddock to commit Murder with a Deadly Weapon,” according to the Metropolitan Police Department document, which was prepared in October.

Haig, whose name had not been previously released, spoke to reporters Tuesday evening outside his home in Mesa, Arizona, and confirmed that he has been contacted by investigators.

“I’m the guy that sold ammunition to Stephen Paddock,” Haig said.

He said he met with Paddock, the gunman behind the mass shooting, once but did not know him. He declined to answer additional questions.

Danley was Paddock’s girlfriend and initially was named as a person of interest in the investigation. Authorities later said they do not expect her to face charges.

A LinkedIn account for Haig says he works as a senior engineer for Honeywell Aerospace, an aircraft engines and avionics manufacturer in Phoenix, as well for a company called Specialized Military Ammunition that claims to be the “source for premium, MILSPEC, tracer and incendiary ammunition in popular military calibers,” according to the company’s website.

The website also indicates that the ammunition business has been shuttered.

“We Will Be Closed Indefinitely. Check back to see if/when we are up and running again,” according to an undated text box on the website.

Steve Brecken, spokesman for Honeywell Aerospace, confirmed to the Las Vegas Review-Journal on Tuesday that Haig works for the company.

When contacted about the newly released name, Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo said only, “If you’ve got it, publish it.” He said he could not comment on a federal case.
An FBI spokeswoman and a spokeswoman with the U.S. attorney’s office in Las Vegas declined to comment.

During a Jan. 20 update on the shooting investigation, Lombardo noted that the FBI had an open investigation into an unnamed person of interest, though he repeatedly said Paddock was the only shooter.

Lombardo also said he did not anticipate Danley facing any criminal charges.

“I know and believe there was only one suspect who killed 58 people and injured hundreds more,” Lombardo said. “All the evidence recovered in this case supports that theory. There was one shooter in the 1 October massacre. There was only one person responsible, and that was Stephen Paddock.”

Paddock’s brother Eric Paddock said he does not know Haig.

“I never heard of the guy,” said the brother, who lives in Orlando, Florida.

The Review-Journal, along with other media outlets, sought the ruling from District Judge Elissa Cadish, who on Tuesday unsealed the records related to the Route 91 Harvest festival shooting.

“The court correctly recognized the presumption of public access to records, even when a mass tragedy occurs,” Review-Journal attorney Maggie McLetchie said.

Authorities in Las Vegas have said that while Stephen Paddock acted alone in killing 58 people at the music festival before killing himself in his Mandalay Bay suite, possible criminal charges are still being investigated.

Lombardo has said he expects a final report on the shooting to be released before the end of 2018.

This is a developing story. Check back for updates.
