Even
just flipping through the book,
the reader will be able to take off or loosen some familiar, but
hateful shackles and thus come closer to freedom, to change his life
for the better.
Let
a wise man come to me, not a liar, not a cheat, but a straightforward
person. I instruct him, teach him Dhamma - in such a way that, by
practicing the path he taught, he soon will know himself and see
himself. So he really comes to the liberation from the bonds - in
other words, from the chains of ignorance.
(Majjhima-Nikaya)
The
book is intended not so much to read, how to study, research
ourselves - how much we came to understanding the transcendent
mysteries. It is a journey inward, on the roads of destiny, nomadic
in the fields of knowledge, the work of sowing seeds and harvesting,
activities that are long been considered the highest, - the
acquisition of truth. Without giving final truth, we argue that it
can be found, and look for it is obligatory. Referring directly to
the hearts of seekers, the book tends to awaken in them an intuitive
insight, lead to the discovery of the inner world, rich,
inexhaustible, unique in its beauty and greatness, which is in each
one. Saying "The kingdom of heaven is within you", the
Bible reveals to us the only opportunity - an opportunity to soothe
all the excitement over the acquisition of eternity. Repeating this,
Eastern wisdom says "Paradise is close ...". No book
provides a complete form of immortality, eternal and ineffable peace.
However, the book will indicate where the search for the perfection
starts, where the words of the call to awakening sound. And if there
is no highest harmony in our hearts, we are just on the doorstep to
the Wandering and Achievement, Acquisition and Admiration.

Delphic
inscription reads: Know thyself, and thou shalt know the gods and the
universe." The Hebrew Pentateuch repeatedly tells the words
"Attend to yourself." Old Testament prophets and New
Testament says the same.
With
my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within
me
will
I seek thee early (Isaiah 26:9)
Hypocrites!
The earth and the sky can discern how much time this will not
recognize? Why did you and do not judge
ourselves,
what is right?
(Luke
12:56-57)
On
the person you see? Who is confident in himself that he is Christ's,
let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's, so are
we Christ.
Examine
yourselves,
whether you are in the faith; yourselves. Do you not know yourselves,
that Jesus Christ is in you? Unless you are not what they should be.
(2
Corinthians 10:7, 13:5)
In
knowledge of their inner being - Christ - is the essence of the New
Testament sacrament of communion.
But
let a man examine
himself,
and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of the cup. For any one
who eats and drinks, eats and drinks judgment to himself, not
discerning the Lord's body.
(1
Corinthians 11:28-29)
According
to the East and the Judeo-Christian apocryphal texts, the great
sacrifice of body of Christ-Purusha (the universal man, Adam Kadmon,
who was identified with the pre-existing Messiah) has formed the
world, split into pearls.
However,
Phaedrus, I think that such an interpretation, though being
attractive, is the work of man with special abilities: he will work a
lot, and good luck - not too ... For this, I have no leisure time at
all. And the reason is, my friend, is in this: I can still can not,
according to the Delphic inscription, to know himself. And in my
opinion, it is ridiculous, not knowing yet that, explore strange.
(Plato,
Phaedrus 229-230)
As
Buddha taught, in this body, death and having a height no more than
fourteen feet, but conscious and endowed with intelligence, is the
beginning of the world, its development and its decline, and the way
leading to its disappearance (which comes for the enlightened). The
body, where the soul, i.e. Christ, lives, is a unique instrument of
knowledge, which should be kept clean, and at the same time, the soul
itself is an instrument of purification. Discovering yourself, you
learn and the beyond. A man can know nothing about the nature of
Nirvana and the possibility of immortality, unless he understands
himself, having acquired this knowledge by experience. Being
acquainted with his inner world, a man learns also the external world
- as fused parts of the whole.
Knowing
one God, embracing the universe, [man] shall be exempt from all
bonds.
(Svetasvatara
Upanishad 4.16)
God,
found within, and at the same time t spread throughout the world,
leads a person to freedom.
You
should recognize this creature - and it can be infinite. It is not a
man and not a woman, it is not asexual. What bodily [shell] it takes,
by this it is guarded.
(Svetasvatara
Upanishad 5.9-10)
Manifestation
of the creator-demiurge are endless, duality lies in his very basis.
73
For
if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged. But when we are
judged, we are chastened of the Lord, should not be condemned with
the world.
(1
Corinthians 11:31-32)
Knowing
oneself, one becomes inaccessible and is not subject to the High
Court. On the contrary, who took the trouble to make it in life,
lived in vain, because he will not escape punishment.
And
if someone leaves this world without seeing his world, this [world],
like the unread Veda or undone deed, does not bring to him a benefit.
And even if not awaring of it makes a great and noble deed, it dies
in the end.
(Brihadaranyaka
Upanishad 1.4.15)
Only
conscious purposeful activity, through wishful thinking to himself,
is salvific. Only self-determination on the path of perfection gives
some results related to personal salvation. It is useless to be born
and to die, if during a short period of time allotted to you, you did
not do anything to realize the true right of a person - to go beyond
the circle of causality in the phenomenal world and to come to a new
level of freedom. Standard charity (external piety and good deeds)
does not bring any fruit for eternity.
Not
everyone who has everything, will know himself. However, those who do
not know themselves will not enjoy what they have. But only those who
know themselves will enjoy it.
(Gospel
of Philip 105)
If
the main goal of self-knowledge is solved, seeker is initiated and
finds joy.
Happy
are those of the earth-born people who have seen the mystery.
The
one who was not involved in them will be forever to death
Have
similar shares in gloomy underground kingdom.
(Hymn
to Demeter 480-482)
The
sacrament is to see during the life all the obstacles of death to win
them by own conscious activity, striving for liberation. Initiated is
one who has managed to kindle in his heart that spark in the fire of
tapas.
Thrice
happy
are mortals who depart to Hades, having seen these rites, since true
life is granted to them; for the rest, all that is there is evil.
(Sophocles)
Joy
is always infinite. Evil coming to replace exists both in the form of
life and in the form of death, but always finite and temporary.
Without defeating evil through renunciation already in his life,
after the death a man faces with a scary, and in the life - with a
reward for his deeds. Perfection is to destroy the reasons of evil
deeds, to destruct mechanism of accumulation and reproduction of
evil. Death, which stops the evil and bad conditions, can be used for
good - to defeat it itself.
74
[Only]
the wise men, who see Him in themselves, [destined] eternal
happiness, and not other ... Only knowing Him, [person] goes beyond
death, there is no way [that would be] to follow.
(Svetasvatara
Upanishad 6.12-16)
Anyone
who has seen a supreme principle - a manifestation of God, infinite
Perfection without beginning, needs no longer confirmation by other
authorities. Salvation is once gained personal treasure that no one
can steal or take as his share. Buddha does not transfer
enlightenment to others, but only points the way to it.
He
is who does everything, knows its own power, the wise, the creator of
time, endowed with qualities, omniscient, lord of pradhana and
conscious being, cause of knots, continuity and liberation in the
cycle of life. Being such, He is immortal, endures as a ruler - wise,
omnipresent, the keeper of the world, who always owns this world, for
there is no other basis of [this] rule.
(Svetasvatara
Upanishad 6.16-17)
Upanishads
describe in detail the category of a supreme being - the Creator,
which needs to be mastered for successful saving practices. However,
they do not call to worship Him, that is, to create idols through
which a man is seduced and deceives himself, realizing false
religious purposes. On the contrary, all the practices are intended
to destroy the boundary between the lower and the beyond, and to
merge with the supreme. The purpose of yoga is defines as: Jiva
should merge with Paramatman, alive being with the Beyond. The
mechanism of erasing boundaries lies in the implementation of the
principles: Thou art That, I am Brahma (the Creator), etc. All the
elaborated system of exercises is given for anyone could attain
higher by the inner path during this life, as the outcome of their
efforts.
By
diligent friction of thinking, [person] sees God like a hidden
[fire]. As sesame oil in sesame beans, oil - in the cream, water - in
the river and fire - in the piece of wood, so the Atman is
comprehended within himself by who looks down on him in truth and
asceticism. [He understands] Atman, permeating everything, like oil
contained in the cream, - the root of self-knowledge and asceticism.
This is the highest Upanishad of Brahman! This is the highest
Upanishad of Brahman!
(Svetasvatara
Upanishad 1.14-16)
God
is not identical to a man, but he is present in a person, as well as
throughout the world, and is the root of self-discovery. Yoga is a
joint of the living soul, a man's person with the Atman. To start
your own salvation, you have to find Him in yourself, but it will be
only the beginning of the saving path.
75
For
the LORD will again rejoice about you over you, as he rejoiced over
thy fathers, if you obey the voice of the Lord your God, keeping his
commandments and his statutes that are written in this book of the
law, and if thou turn to the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and
with all your soul. For this commandment which I command thee this
day, it is not hidden from thee, neither is it far off, it is not in
heaven, that you can say, "Who shall go up for us to heaven, and
bring it to us, and make us hear it, and we do it? " and beyond
the sea, that you can say, "Who shall go over the sea for us and
bring it to us, and make us hear it, and we do it?" but very
close to you this word: it is in your mouth and in your heart, to
execute it.
(Deuteronomy
30:9-14)
There
is no difference in religion and the teachings of different times and
peoples in the question that God reveals to him who loves, listens,
and seeks to connect to Him.
For
a record before you call heaven and earth to life and death I tell
you, the blessing and the curse. Therefore choose life, that you have
lived and your offspring, love the Lord thy God, to obey his voice,
and to cleave unto him: for in thy life, and the length of thy days,
to put you on the ground.
(Deuteronomy
30:19-20)
To
know yourself is the same as to know God in yourself, because in the
other you will not find Him, but you can only come to the opposite -
to the idolatry, the dangers of which are discussed in the Bible more
than in detail. Well, still more ridiculous is an appeal: "Know
the compilers of the book!" or bewilderment: "What have I
to know in myself, live as lived, do not muzz. Physician knows me,
what is in me. And neighbors know that I am a good person."
Let
it not be among you man, or woman, or family, or tribe, whose heart
turneth away this day from the LORD our God, to go and serve the gods
of the people, let there be among you a root that beareth gall and
wormwood, a man who heard the words this curse, bragged to his heart,
saying, "I'll be happy, despite the fact that I will walk in the
my heart", and lost so fed the hungry.
(Deuteronomy
29:18-19)
Here,
as likes to tell Kamasutra, verses are given:
He
wanted to erase the edge between what he was
And
what seemed ...
(Shakespeare.
Storm)
But
could this our readers? Hopefully. You just have to endeavor, because
there are no other recommendations with a more strong motive in the
scriptures. Salvation is teaching of rational self-interest in the
initial stages of the transition to a developed altruism.
If
now we rubbed to ourselves in favor -
Become
generous to our beauty.
(Shakespeare.
Richard III)
Buy
the truth and do not sell wisdom and teachings [instruction,
punishment] and mind.
(Proverbs
23:23)
The
main thing is wisdom:
Get
wisdom, and with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and
she shall exalt thee: she shall praise thee, when thou dost embrace
her, put it on your head an ornament, will take your crown of glory.
(Proverbs
4:7-9)
Expending
is necessary (these are the laws of the genre), and if not now, then
later. If later, then more - penalty percents run over. But what
pleases me, that is huge benefit - of spending which is, in general,
small.
Both
life and wealth of the servants are completely in the hands of the
lord.
He
wants - all takes away. To argue with him is a sinful thing.
(Panchatantra)
And
what for argue: He knows - we do not know. All the more, in a dispute
truth is born, but relationship die:
Or
you'll be polite to me,
Or
I'll drew your screams
In
ecstatic roar of the war.
(Shakespeare.
Richard III)

Some
important aspects of the problem of knowledge can be traced back to
Goethe aphorisms.
Can
we know ourselves? Not by contemplation, but by action. Try to do
your duty, and you will know that you have.
Sadly,
this idea is false, it relies on an incorrect understanding and
offers salvation by affairs only. To do your duty, you must first
know what it is. Activities should be based on the newfound truth,
and then the path will be error-free. Contemplation is extracting the
truth, a necessary first step, and the action - its implementation
for own good - is to be followed by the second stage of a two-part
journey. To act properly, you need to find untold. Then, despite all
the troubles, the result is always good. Goethe mixes these steps to
simplify the structure of the way, full of unexpected events and
impressions.
Surely,
who does not see this black in his early work, during Work of Stone,
will not complete magistery; this can not be done without going
through the stage of chaos, no matter what other colors he may have
seen in the course of work.
(N.
Flamel. Hieroglyphic figures)
The
path will be successful only if its start was accompanied by a small
blackening. This symbolizes communication with woman-wisdom,
to find which is absolutely necessary for success.
It
is not enough to have knowledge, also apply.
This
is the basic principle of any spiritual practice. Unless the theory
studied is not set in motion and action, it will not bring good
fruits. All theoretical knowledge is required only to use them for
own sake. If knowledge was based on flawed or false ideas, the
results of the practice will be disastrous and sad. Hence come all
the biblical warnings against false prophet preaching. The
practitioner must learn to distinguish the true word from the false
one, anticipating in advance the consequences of the application of a
given doctrine: bitter mustard seeds will not let the sweet fruit.
However, such an anticipation can only be given as a gift from above,
and sweet fruits are not for everyone. Tortuous path is designed just
for the righteous and holy, the end of which is always sad.
The
question of the purpose, the question "what for?" - is
certainly unscientific. Much further leads us the question "
how?"
Then,
what for are texts and scriptures? If there is no purpose, all
equipment is meaningless. Necessary funds are given by God and always
meet that goal, without this the activity becomes mechanical and
meaningless, not leading to any result. The question "what for?"
puts everything at stake; it determines the benefit of a man.
The
correct view of the nature is useful for any practice.
In
fact, the right view precedes the true practice and causes it. For
any (false) practice, on the contrary, any nonsense will fit.
At
higher levels you can not know anything, but you need to do, just
like in a game knowledge helps little, but it all comes down to
implementation.
Goethe
once again to place the practice and denies the existence of truth
underlying it. This is the limitations of the man who still does not
know the truth, because he has not found it. Faust, Goethe's favorite
hero, rewrites the Bible: "In the beginning was the action."
However, the expectation is vain that the assistant who appeared out
of nowhere and with which you can enter into a contract, will lead to
good. Another's mind does not help to get rich; the other can give
the method of comprehending the truth, but not the truth itself.
Mephistopheles seeks only to get a slave; responsibility for the
consequences of a contract will belong to the man himself. In other
passage Goethe himself points out the consequences of such behavior:
People
who do not have enough for the necessities, are busy with
unnecessary.
To
obtain a necessary and discard excess, one needs recognition,
distinction. God helps only to those who are conscious. The same
Goethe, who was trying to deny the truth, admits:
There
is nothing worse than active ignorance.
77
Indian
scripture tells how the king of gods Indra and representative of
demons (asuras) Virochana come, independently and without knowledge
of each other, to Prajapati - the lord of creatures, to get his
superior knowledge of the Atman.
Look
at yourselves (Atman) in a dish of water, then tell me what you do
not understand about the self.' They looked in a dish of water.
Prajapati asked them, 'What do you see?' They said, 'Blessed one, we
see ourselves in reflection, from hair to nails.' Prajapati said to
them, 'Make yourselves smart, well-dressed and elegant, and look in a
dish of water.' They made themselves smart, well-dressed and elegant,
and looked in a dish of water. Prajapati asked them, 'What do you
see?' They said, 'Blessed one, just as we are smart, well-dressed and
elegant, so these, blessed one, are smart, well-dressed and elegant.'
'This is the self,' he said. 'This is the immortal, the fearless:
this is brahman.' And they left, their hearts at peace. Seeing them,
Prajapati said, 'They are leaving without attaining or knowing the
self. Those who have this as their inner teaching, whether gods or
demons, will be defeated.'
Virocana
went to the demons, his heart at peace, and taught them this inner
teaching: 'The self must be glorified, the self must be served here.
Glorifying and serving the self here, one attains both worlds, this
one and that one.' So even here, today, they say of one who does not
give, does not have faith, does not sacrifice, 'Alas! He is demonic!'
for this inner teaching belongs to the demons. Folk make ready the
body of the departed with alms, clothing and adornments, and think
that they will win that world by means of this one.
(Chandogya
Upanishad 8.8.1-5)
Materialist
understanding of the world is only the first step, which is necessary
to pass. Indra was not satisfied by the first answer of Prajapati and
returned for further search of truth. Indra and Virochana look the
dish with a smooth surface, which is a woman;
one seeks in her so needed wisdom.
To
the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy
pregnancy; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children and thy desire
shall husband, and he shall rule over thee.
(Genesis
3:16)
And
the angel of the Lord said unto her, I will greatly multiply your
descendants, so that it shall not be numbered for multitude.
(Genesis
16:10)
Acquisition
of knowledge is just the process of pregnancy and childbirth of the
women-wisdom. "I will greatly multiply" means the absolute
amount of knowledge in the form of individual pieces of information.
Bible does not skimp on such promises.
I
will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land of
which I said, I will give unto your seed, and they shall inherit [it]
forever.
(Exodus
32:13)
Higher
states of consciousness, attained by intellectual and spiritual
exercises, give only finite knowledge, which is only the veils,
idols.
And
I gave my heart to, to explore and search out by wisdom all that is
done under heaven: this sore travail hath God given to the sons of
men to be exercised in it ... And I gave my heart to, to know wisdom
and to know madness and folly: I perceived that this is - a striving
after wind.
(Ecclesiastes
1:13,17)
As
many times warned Solomon, the human wisdom is not to be confused
with Wisdom - the wisdom of God.
Understanding
is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it: but the instruction of
fools is folly.
(Proverbs
16:22)
All
the clothes will be thrown off (Job 1:20-21, Ecclesiastes. 5:14, 1
Tim. 6:7). In the Eastern tradition namarupa
is
false names and forms, the illusory body. Essence of mystery
practices (where a person passed during life through divine and
infernal states) is to understand the inner
content
and to become an ordinary (but transcending duality) man. This seeker
does not need to go any higher or lower path. By itself, the most
established in Ancient Greece ritual of Eleusinian Mysteries
guarantees the Virocana state only.
78
Theme
of salvation
path
is
presented in the most vivid and colorful form and construed in detail
in the eastern Buddhist tradition, although the same conclusions and
positions can be dig in all religions. We present here for example a
comment by following of the Wheel of Dharma Sutra (but not bowing the
pious reader to Buddhism).
There
are two extremes, O monks, which should not be followed by the
ascetic. One is a tendency to all sorts of desires, vulgar as barn,
low, peasant, popular, non-Aryan, senseless. Another is the
propensity to exhaust itself, heavy, non-Aryan, senseless.
When
a person is saved, he goes to the true reality. Monk (bhikkhu) is not
just taking religious vows, but a seeker of truth, this can be any
person; ascetic
is
striving for freedom. His world has the form of two,
the pair of opposites. Putting himself to free flow of events and
setting no obstacles, a person gets into one extreme - the
recognition and satisfaction by all that is going on. In doing so, it
is easy to get on the path of temptation and seduction, to enter into
a blissful state and be lost there. To think only of low pleasures in
the heavenly worlds is simple; proceed following to this recipe is
available to anyone and requires no effort. Conversely, bhikkhu who
deals infinite mortification, constantly bringing himself to
exhaustion, renouncing all the best, gives his blessing God knows
whom, and also goes pointless.
But
neither the one nor to the other extreme is not a clone true middle
road comprehended until the end of the Tathagata, the vision of the
giver, the giver of knowledge, to calm, to knowledge, to
enlightenment, to the repose of the leads.
Noble
middle path that has been recognized by Tathagata is a process that
takes place within the seeker. Tathagata is not a supreme being and
not an idol, but the man's state. This is a student, seeking for the
truth and salvation, coming as it is, without inventing own means of
salvation, and not restricting himself by human moral categories.
Following the path of liberation, he examines all quickly, pushing
the ice of his existence as an icebreaker. Like the legendary worm
Shamir of the Jewish tradition, he splits any stones and extracts
particles of light for himself. Main way category is that going
understands and comprehends all: the truth makes him free. Middle
path leads to appease all manifestations of troubles, which are
waiting for a man from two sides. Through the union of the two
extremes and the way, a trinity
is
formed.
Basis
of existence is composed of three elements: this,
an obstacle and that.
Depict the non-existence by zero or one. Then we will have to draw
the existence by numeral three.
So: dividing a single void in three parts, we obtain Trinity of the
existence... If the obstruction would disappear, then this
and
that
would
be a single and continuous, and cease to exist.
(D.
Harms)
Links
(stages) of the path are identified by numeral eight
(numerical
transformations are important in the path of salvation).
A
live for two weeks
Work
for eight years,
But
I will show, in fact,
What
ascetic can do.
(Vladimir
Vysotsky)
The
person has also to pull the weight of the "five
combustible
piles" (skandhas) - the objects of affection, giving fuel for
the fire of passion.
But,
O monks, there is suffering... what is the addition of the
suffering... what is the suppression of the suffering... that's the
right path, which leads to the suppression of the suffering...
The
Four Noble Truths of Buddhism are related to the basic concept of
suffering (dukkha). Suffering is an unsatisfactory state on the way,
the enemy, conditions to be overcome. One meets with them not only in
the darkened worldly life, but on the spiritual path. World is
continuously spinning in the triple sense wheel of permanent birth,
development and destruction. All combined things are ceased - the
world exists as a complex combination, mosaic, striping of dharmas
(laws). Even the terrible apocalypse is a temporal being, the special
time zone, which also obeys the laws of combination and termination.
When
driving, the chariot wheel is rolling by only one point of the rim,
and is resting only on one point; and quite similar, life of a living
being lasts only until the thought lasts. As soon as that thought has
ceased, one say that the living being has disappeared.
(Vishuddhimagga)
Life
is the wheel of being and time, which touches the surface of
manifestations by only one point: every moment an infinite number of
elements being are composed in a particular combination. The next
elusive moment, the wheel is detached from the contact point, the
connection is broken, and the same elements produce new combinations.
Under these laws the material world and human consciousness, and the
world beyond exist; all the more the world of saving person is
composite and temporary. Being is a constant process of recombination
of states, nothing eternal and infinite exists, but there are rules
of recombination. This is the unreality of the world: there are no
things that are in the past (these combinations have long decomposed
and converted to new), there is no future, because these things do
not exist either, and there is not present which is placed between
the illusory past and future.
Thus,
O monks, a vision of things, being unheard before, opened for me, the
wisdom, knowledge, clarity opened.
79
Those
who have known the truth of the way, moved to the beginning of the
process of salvation through understanding.
Those
who go by middle [way] quickly pass the ocean [of being]. [Those] who
go by two [conflicting] ways, will sink in the sea of samsara. Leave
duality, stick middle path. The first way [gives] the coolness, the
second the heat, both [ways] - the fire [of suffering].
(Kabir)
Noble
middle path is described many times in the Bible.
Who
then could go into the sea to look upon it, and to rule it, if he
went not through the narrow, how could he come into the broad? There
is also another thing; A city is builded, and set upon a broad field,
and is full of all good things: The entrance thereof is narrow,
and is set in a dangerous place to fall, like as if there were a fire
on the right hand, and on the left a deep water: And one only
path between them both, even between the fire and the water, so small
that there could but one man go there at once. If this city now were
given unto a man for an inheritance, if he never shall pass the
danger set before it, how shall he receive this inheritance?
(3(4)
Ezra 7:5-9)
Mountains
and valleys, water and fire, darkness and light are divided high and
low states.
And
the sons of Israel, of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters
were a wall unto them on his right and on their left.
(Exodus
14:22)
Jews
(the elected people) are used to move through the energy ocean of
this world in the median position between the two extremes.
So
Balaam rose in the morning and saddled his donkey and went with the
princes of Moab. But God's anger was kindled because he went, and
the angel of the Lord took his stand in the way as his adversary. He
was riding on a donkey, and his two servants were with him. And the
ass saw the angel of the Lord standing in the road with a drawn sword
in his hand, and the ass turned aside out of the way, and went into
the field: and Balaam smote the ass, to turn her into the road. And
the angel of the Lord stood in a path of the vineyards, a wall on one
side and the other side wall. Ass saw the angel of the Lord against
the wall, and crushed Balaam's foot against the wall: and he smote
her again.
(Numbers
22:21-25)
The
donkey creates obstacle and turns off from the road three
times
(Numbers 22:33), corresponding to the three stages in the path of the
Abrahamic religions. Angel sent by God to the human world, prevents
passing the road as the enemy, Satan. Patristic literature does not
miss the theme of the middle path with a nontrivial ethics too.
Gregory of Nyssa wrote of the "royal road" (Numbers 20:17):
If
thin trail is stretched between the two slopes on the edge of the
ridge, for someone who goes on it, it is dangerous to swerve to the
right or left of the middle, because by step in one way or another,
the abyss is waiting for him. And the law wants that going after it
did not leave the path, as the Lord says, cramped and narrow (Matt.
7:14), neither left nor right (Deut. 28:14). These words are a lesson
to us, indicating that the virtues are in the middle. All the evil is
happening or of a lack, or an excess of virtue ... That who lack
chastity is disbanded and the one who has it in abundance, is burned
in his conscience (1 Tim. 4:2) ... One who performs in this world his
life, safely finishes this necessary journey of virtue, if he can
stay on this truly great way, the beaten and the gray by virtue,
never turning for blemish on the road.
(The
life of Moses the Lawgiver)
Modern
authoritative theologian Karl Barth speaks of three ways theology:
dogmatic, critical and dialectical:
True
dialectician knows that this center - living center of any theology -
is incomprehensible and is "not visual," and therefore he
would not give direct information about the center, because he knows
that all of the information, positive or negative - is not really
information, but always either dogma or criticism. On this rocky
ridge he can just go and if he tries to stop, he would fall - right
or left, but surely fall. We can only go on and on - a terrible sight
to those who are dizziness, - to go, looking from one side to
another, from the statement of denial and negation of the assertion,
thus relating them to each other.
To
go the way of knowledge, it is necessary to arm by the four noble
truths, boldly take risks of faith and not be afraid of doubt. In the
words of Zarathustra, "is dangerous to move, it is dangerous to
stay on the road, dangerous look back, dangerous shudder and freeze."
Look
- here he goes without insurance.
To
the right of the slope - will fall, lost!
Just
left of the slope - still does not save ...
But
it should be, it is very necessary to go through four quarters of the
way.
(Vladimir
Vysotsky)
So,
relentlessly biting into volumes of the book,
hard-working and dedicated reader gradually comes to insight and
unspeakable truth.

Buddha
said: who sees that all arises, says it all exists, - one extreme,
and who sees that everything is destroyed, says it does not exist -
the other extreme, the truth is in the middle (Samyutta-Nikaya). In
Hinduism, the three views with the three gunas - Rajas (activity,
birth, creation), Tamas (inertia, darkness, destruction) and sattva
(goodness).
"Going
to the road ","going from the road, "
Going
middle of the road ","go along the road "-
Under
such names for Me
They
favor the victim, being spread widely.
(Rigveda
5.52.10)
"Going
to the road" are those who only feel for the way of salvation,
hardly choose the means of salvation for themselves (e.g., begin to
read spiritual literature, interpret it and talk to others, to resort
to rituals). "Going from the road" are atheists, those who
do not recognize and reject salvation, at best, assuming sufficient
to be good and moral people. They give up the way, or proclaim aloud
militant atheism, or move away from saving purpose silently, without
even realizing it. "Going in the middle of the road" are
those who are faithful to the middle way, comprehend and learn on the
way to the goal, consciously extract benefit for themselves. "Going
on the road" are fellow travelers who did not take the main
ideas of salvation. They proclaim their devotion to higher ideas in
words, but have no understanding, acknowledge God, but worship Him in
a false, mechanical form or passively await salvation. So the
servants and animals carrying the load go on the road. The entire
world is living on these four principles (letters of the divine
name); these four rivers still flow from the Garden of Eden.
But
be aware - exhausting yourself by path
Mixing
days and nights because of me,
To
my heart you put down roots hard,
And
you have nothing to be sick of it.
(Shakespeare.
End - crowns the work)
The
Old Testament usually speaks about the enforced action. God always
separates the Jews from their homes and moves to a new location, in
addition enticing unrealistic benefits. They plod on barren desert
land as on the path of salvation, whether right or wrong - their
patron (God or female Shekinah) will not leave them. One can connect
to the highest category, an angel or hypostasis of God and
necessarily pass on the road, making no personal conscious choice.
A:
Oh heavens! What a cunning
Has
brought us here? Or, perhaps, happiness?
F:
Both things together: we were driven by
Intrigue,
happiness - led here.
(Shakespeare.
Storm)
Jews
express their bitter disappointment, suffering in the desert. They
have been deceived as chosen people - their pains last from the
beginning of creation to the end of the world, so the promised
prosperity and happiness can only be mentioned with bitter irony.
And
when I had returned, behold, at the bank of the stream were very many
trees on either side. And he said to me: These waters in the eastern
side of the earth, come down to the plain and enters the sea, the
waters shall be healed. And every living creature, reptile, where
will [two] of the jet will be alive, and the fish will be quite a
lot, because this water will go there, and the water in the sea shall
be healed, and which will include the flow, everything is alive
there.
(Ezekiel
47:7-9)
Stream
is
the way, the river of time, the flow of the world between the two
extremes. The river flows toward the east of Eden, comes to the
plains, the apocalyptic battle will be where in last times, and then
the journey ends. Only those who pass all the triple way of
salvation, having undergone division into two parts, and the
connection, will find the good and the eternal life.
81
Moreover,
thou son of man, take thee one stick ... then take another stick ...
And join them one to another into one stick, that they are in your
hand one. And when you ask your people "do not shew us what
thou?" Say unto them, Thus saith the Lord God: Behold, I will
take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the
tribes of Israel with him, and put them with him, even with the stick
of Judah, and make them one stick, and they shall be one in my hand.
(Ezekiel
37:16-19)
In
the Hebrew text, instead of "stick", we read the word tree
(the
knowledge of good and evil - the split tree of life).
When
you make one from the two, and when you make the inside like the
outside and the outside like the inside, and the upper side as the
lower side, and when you make male and female one, so the man was not
a man and a woman was not a woman, when you make eye instead of an
eye, and a hand instead of a hand, and a foot in place foot, an image
in place of the image - then you will enter [the kingdom].
(The
Gospel of Thomas, 27, cf. Eph. 2:14-16)
Why
peace arises before consciousness as a single, permanent? Because the
rest is not tearing apart into halves of what is really and what is
desirable. This is not splitting apart of the established
equilibrium, quiet shelter. Single is not shaking up grains of good
and evil in own destiny under the pressure of the wind, meaning the
need for change. The goal is to rise above the fractional state in
the beginning of the reflection period, and then in the realization
stage, to achieve merging of all into one.
Your
speech is worth of your great peace of mind! Why be verbose? I was
deceived, not understanding you!
(Jataka
Garland)
So
sounds conversation between inside and outside, talking of One and
the many. The speech comes from the One that has great peace;
verbosity means its fragmentation. Deceived are those who incorrectly
perceived the speech.
82
The
man knows God within himself, through his own body. All of the views
of the Mosaic law are written in the body of the first man, Adam.
They are extremely confusing, and non-freed man easily goes astray.
Remaining only in law, in communication with Moses, a person can
easily get lost, get entangled by duality horns in the Gnostic
blackthorn where God came to Moses.
At
the hour when Moses wrote the Torah, he wrote every day deeds. When
he reached the statement: "And God said: Let us make man in our
image, after our likeness," Moses said: "Lord of the World!
I wonder why you give a reason for the fabrications of heretics."
He said, "Write it down. Whoever wants to make a mistake, let's
be wrong."
(Genesis
Rabbah 8.7)
So,
without much thought and reflection, there was a preparation of the
book,
which allows authors to absolve themselves of any responsibility
after removing the impurities of doubt and fear. Moses, who was more
heroic and tragic figure, described in detail the creation of the
world, that is, events that took place in Eden. (Eden is the center
for software development in the joint venture "Earth-Sky".
In addition to the core, there have been developed also secondary
packages: "East-West", "Good-Bad", "Joy-Trouble",
and so on, etc.) In fact, the whole process is still going on inside
each person.
As
if coming to the carnival,
Immediately
I picked off the mask...
(Goethe)
We
do not keep silent about this. Actor and role are the man and the
fate, play and scene are life and world, screenwriter and director
are the pair of authors of the book. What man sows, that he shall
also reap, that writes in his Destiny book as Scenarist, that shall
he also reap as an Actor. So he will be evaluated by the audience
(see ancestors, deities ...).
83
And
the theater begins with a hanger. Coming into this world naked, we're
also going out of him naked (Job 1:21, 1 Tim. 6:7). And the one who
went to the last journey on the Path to Eternal Self-Perfection gets
leading role in the play "The Battle in the Way."
I
call to battle
All
devils - but one by one.
(Shakespeare.
Storm)
A:
How is it that they travel? Sedentary life was better for them in the
sense of fame, and in terms of revenue.
B:
It seems to me that their difficulties stem from the latest
innovations.
(Shakespeare.
Hamlet)
We
explain that the "latest innovations" are the signs of the
Day of Judgment, the transformation of the fate of the world in last
times. The rest of the leading actors of the troupe is as follows:
He
that plays the king shall be welcome; his majesty shall have tribute
of me; the adventurous knight shall use his foil and target; the
lover shall not sigh gratis; the humourous man shall end his part in
peace; the clown shall make those laugh whose lungs are tickled o'
the sere; and the lady shall say her mind freely, or the blank verse
shall halt for't. What players are they?
(Shakespeare.
Hamlet)
Let
us unfold the meaning:
King
is
holder of truth scepter, the anointed sovereign, the symbol of
supreme power, the object of worship, the King of Kings.
Knight
is
on horseback, fighter, conqueror of enemies, the will to win.
Lover
is
the groom, the priest of love, Tantric, holding a bow with floral
arrows Softly singing, Possessing a dream.
Humourous
man
is
a madman, going to the end, not understood, following an unknown
idea, a hermit from the barrel.
Clown
is
"Old fool law" and his followers-comedian performing the
rules of moral discipline, obeying ban, ascetics, curbing the flesh.
Lady
can
be understood in two ways. In the negative sense, this whore, mind
whoredom, false wisdom, temptation. On the positive side - Wisdom,
Sophia, Bride, Our Lady, Grace.
Blank
verse
in
the positive sense is regal Preacher of purity ("blank").
In the negative - a leper, lurching from one extreme to another.
And
if someone does not follow the recommendations in this book, it may
happen as ever. The question is not what fate comes, but by which
writer
it
was written and what about. That's right, dear readers, you are
already Dear Writers.
Will
they say later, if become simple actors - and it is quite possible,
if they can not find anything better - that their writers hurt them,
forcing them to mock their own heritage?
(Shakespeare.
Hamlet)
So
let me tell you: you are guilty
That
refused from supreme power,
Scepter
and throne of your ancestors,
Hanging
hereditary duty, their rights
And
the burden of fame royal tree
Over
his rotten branch.
(Shakespeare.
Richard III)
84
Immersing
into the biblical events and coming to Eden, one realizes the symbols
of the world around and exercises self-knowledge, becoming an active
spiritual being.
Both
perform actions with its assistance - the one who knows it well, and
he who does not know. However, knowledge and ignorance are different.
For what is happening with the knowledge, faith, meditation, is more
powerful.
(Chandogya
Upanishad 1.1.10)
Only
the personal conscious way ensures the fullness of salvation, in
contrast to the usual mechanical action. Prajna and upaya (wisdom and
method of operation) should be properly combined.
Do
not judge severely
If
we teach heresy!
Looking
into a deep,
We
get the answer to all.
(Goethe)
Inside
himself, a man finds nothing but heresy and tangle of contradictions
that he has to untangle himself. Seeker finds a true middle path,
cutting shabby cloth of ridiculous existence by razor of
renunciation. In fact, the term salvation
is
synonymous with renunciation
-
of world, affection, lust of destructive and vain being. Detached
person continues to live, but by renouncing, no longer lives, but
makes some saving practice, penance, exercise in perfection. Existing
in the flesh, he died for this world, but was born for another. He's
alive, but dead. But alive. He's dead, but alive. But dead. Hindu
saying goes: "The world is clothes of God, give up it - you
receive it back." We add: receive already the state of
purification and novelty, clothing will be washed.
The main rule applicable in this process is the denial, inversion,
transition beyond,
a particle not:
do no tie, do not be tempted, do not indulge, do not enjoy, do not
try, do not touch ... What exactly "not want" is not
mentioned anywhere, it is expected to find themselves in own lives
(and in our book). Only the main principle is heralded: "The
blessing to renounced from desires" (Buddha), "Love not the
world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the
world, the love of the Father is not in him" (1 Jn. 2:15, cf.
James. 4 4, Rome. 8:7). Let's confirm this idea by a special case of
our simple, honest, open Reader who found a new approach to life
following our example:
And
because you yourself, sir, would be as old as I am, if you could,
like crayfish, to go backwards.
(Shakespeare.
Hamlet)
Do
not sleep, do not eat, keep thinking day and night
About
dead happiness and living afflictions.
(Shakespeare.
Richard III)
And
it is just now that our dear and guided readers understand the degree
of responsibility that we take on, participating in the process of
Education, Edification, and selfless service. Here is a solid
foundation for your peace of mind.
And
it does not hurt that the ancient sacred temples
Being
staggered, dropped their dome
Something
ringing and bright smoldered over us,
And
the soul flowered as the dazzling sun.
(G.
Vladychina)
How
long understood our reader took guts on his cover, the book has no
place of pettiness and selfishness, malice and stalk, such as:
Keep
the imagination, do not rush;
The
die - then we deem profits.
(Shakespeare.
Richard III)
Yes,
no one will suggest this:
Healing
drink was ready
And
we become to heal. Doubled
suffering:
And
who was recuperating, -
We
did not think to ask about that.
(Goethe.
Faust)
In
the words of Shakespeare's Polonius, do you mark this, Reynaldo?
85
"In
the beginning was the word", so the world is a phenomenon of
literary and linguistic, artistic and tragicomic work. Here, the main
rules are grammar and style, the main person is Editor. Then, what
from, in this simple vaudeville, are troubles and burdens? Due to the
imperfections of language, depravity of style which was used to write
the script of our lives. And what from comes imperfect language? From
lack of education of the writer, underdevelopment of his literary
talent. Has he ever studied? Studied, but not there, not from those,
and not that, and the knowledge were given to him methodically
illiterate, without a good educational program of the district. And
why ... And in Paradise it (district) is busy by own, more important
tasks.
Oh,
disgusting! This exuberant garden, which breeds
The
mere seed; wild and wicked
Dominates
in it. To reach this state!
(Shakespeare.
Hamlet)
Now,
if we have reached an understanding that gaps in education are to be
filled, a look at the curriculum of the authors in order to know in
advance what the reader is waiting for good things only.
So,
today we stretch network.
Since
we will be accompanied by success -
Serve
Good, encouraging sin.
Help
law by lawlessness.
Bed
of vice becomes marriage bed.
(Shakespeare.
End - crowns the work)
And
here is the program:
1.
To eradicate evil and bad attitudes from our readers.
2.
To prevent the occurrence of bad and dangerous views.
3.
To give a new, bright, useful.
4.
To develop, strengthen and expand the good that is already present.
5.
To familiarize with joy, to carry out training for the development of
good humor, ease and freedom. To give the basics of relationships
with the opposite sex in order to keep the holiday mood.
The
program was developed, improved, fully tested on a group of
Stakeholders in a few years and adopted for implementation. Author's
assurances of its utility are included. Now, dear students, your task
is to use this program, and our task - to help, methodically
competently and without a doubt!
Why,
what should be the fear?
I
do not set my life in a pin's fee;
And
for my soul, what can it do to that,
Being
a thing immortal as itself?
It
waves me forth again: I'll follow it.
(Shakespeare.
Hamlet)
And
do not frown, this is not good. Retrieved by authors for themselves
and others, the result is positive. Or negative? Or positive? This
swing is hanging in the heart of the indecisive. But further:
May
be the devil: and the devil hath power
To
assume a pleasing shape; yea, and perhaps
Out
of my weakness and my melancholy,
As
he is very potent with such spirits,
Abuses
me to damn me.
(Shakespeare.
Hamlet)
So,
we need to have fun. Or do not need to have fun? We have fun. No, we
will not have fun. We have fun. Yes. No. Yes.
A
merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit dries the
bones.
(Proverbs
17:22)
We
have fun. Yes.
Nay,
do not think I flatter;
For
what advancement may I hope from thee
That
no revenue hast but thy good spirits,
To
feed and clothe thee? Why should the poor be flatter'd?
(Shakespeare.
Hamlet)
86
Carl
Jung observed a surprising phenomenon: a person with unsound mind has
dreams of neurotic character, which contain fragments of myths and.
being told to adequately, represent the alchemical process. Other
researchers have noted that the process is going on also for most
normal people, sometimes in connection with the events of their
lives. It was felt that this process is necessary for all. We say
more: the construction or reading of the myth occurs in each person,
not just in a dream, but in reality. That's the way of the whole
world which is maya (illusion) - Dreams of God.
Who
dreamed, blurts in reality.
(Panchatantra)
Couple
"in a dream - in reality" forms a dialectic of unconscious
(intuition) and discursive logic. Intuition is a woman, or a night,
the logic - a man or a day. But at night the male is dominant, and
female during the day.
The
true symbolism is where a particular presents a general not as
universal dream, or a shadow, but as a living revelation of the
unknowable.
(Goethe)
However,
such a revelation is really a dream, or a shadow. Living grasp of the
incomprehensible occurs always in dream-like condition. To be
acquainted with the Beyond truths is possible only in dream.
And
who decides to interpret this dream is the donkey... The human eye
has not heard, the ear has not seen, man's hand is not able to eat,
the human tongue is not able to comprehend, the human heart is not
able to express (1 Cor. 2:9) that it was a dream.
(Shakespeare.
Midsummer Night's Dream)
All
truth passes through the state of maya, the contemplation of a vision
of dreams reality. The first stage of spiritual practices is the
dream, the second - Awakening. The woman needed to reach the heavenly
world, first results from the rib of Adam in a dream, ephemeral form.
For
you would have filled me full with a stream of wisdom plenteous and
fair; whereas my own is of a very mean and questionable sort, no
better than a dream. But yours is bright and full of promise, and was
manifested forth in all the splendour of youth the day before
yesterday, in the presence of more than thirty thousand Hellenes.
(Plato.
Symposium 176 e)
Moses
refers here to the creator of the world - Jesus, who builds and sells
pleroma
with
the help of female wisdom. Thirty thousand Greeks, in whose presence
a feast takes place, are is 33,000 Vedic god, thirty pleroma aeons,
saints of different religions. View dream means to touch the symbols
which take the shape of angels or gods. Each angel represents a
separate law.
87
Despite
its unusualness and external illogicality, our construction justified
by strict sequence of primary texts and from this point of view, have
strongest probative; in addition, we can assure that the selection of
quotes is not arbitrary, although not all the criteria are on the
surface (some used machinery works silently, but effectively).
Who
has not had the experience, he does not know much, but he who
wandered, he multiplied the knowledge. I've seen a lot in my
wanderings, and I know more than these mean.
(Sirach
34:10-11)
A
sound framework distinguishes our book from most popular works, and
mystical revelations and fantasies on such topics. The reality of the
text is no less rich and vibrant, but sometimes leads to harsh and
even cruel conclusions.
Readers
of this article should also remember that there are just conclusions
of Runeberg, but not his dialectical arguments and evidence ... The
content is generally not too difficult, although the conclusion is
monstrous.
(JL
Borges. Three versions of Judas' betrayal)
Of
course, we are not going to disclose the details of all the technical
arsenal applied, not to deny the reader the opportunity to enjoy the
nectar of his discoveries and creative blows-insight. Some categories
discussed (e.g., eternal life, grace, oriental terms - moksha,
nirvana) can not be interpreted in a rational principle, because
their understanding is only based on own hard expressible experience.
When our treatment says about supreme matters without reinforcement
by texts, knocking from discursive-logic to abstract and poetic
language, it is only a modest attempt to expand the vocabulary of the
reader. Unfortunately, there is a danger of such vain attempts to
overwork him by unnecessary pathos.
And
there is no living excitement in the breast,
And
there is no fire in the senseless eyes!
(N.
Yazykov)
88
In
the book,
we do not give ourselves up to high delight, because they can quickly
form idols in consciousness, and talk only about technical aspects of
gaining wealth and attaining salvation as some very real states. To
reach the beyond and take a worthy place in it, to become perfect, to
know God and to participate in His works are the usual things that
can be strictly defined and demonstrated. Texts contain not only
descriptions of distant goals, but specific tools to get the desired
results too.
Joy
last, joy of premonitions,
To
know that beyond the death is a world of being.
Dreams
of perfection! In dreams and in art
Worshipping,
I greet you.
(Bryusov)
All
the efforts of those who seek are, in fact, not in vain. There is joy
and true being for those who can get into it. Our promises will last
the whole book, even though they may not be clear, and will soon
become bothersome. In reality, these are not promises, but calls for
the possession of something desirable. Here the reader should expect
results from himself. To take, you need to do, "Who will go, he
will reach." On the other hand, promising a lot in the
beginning, in the subsequent volumes, we will speed up the pace to
give more information, and it will gradually become clear that it one
could not tell right now about all the things. The advantage of the
concrete business book on the spiritual and personal matter is that
it, like the fireworker guide, can help fuel the fire for the
fireworks.
89
When
the Gnostic, aware of shapeless, hardly expressible images and ideas
of higher structures of consciousness, transforms them into words,
formulates something, turns his speech to a non-gnostic - preaches,
retells, prophesies, he uses techniques of "magnetization",
"cohesion". In the first phase, including in the work the
archetypes of non-cultivated fields of the audience, the speaker
connects the major conceptual blocks by the parable magnet. Parable
aggregates and organizes around it chaotically living images of the
listener. It is assumed that he does not understand everything, but
gradually matures to move on. Almost all canonical texts are built on
this principle. So proceeds the chief Gnostic of Bible - God, saying:
You
shall bring out your baggage by day in their sight, as baggage for
exile, and you shall go out yourself at evening in their sight, as
those do who must go into exile (resettlement).
(Ezekiel
12:4)
Take
the girdle that thou hast got, which is upon thy loins, and arise, go
to Euphrates, and hide it there in a cleft of the rock.
(Jeremiah
13:4)
Through
the prophet, God is preparing a resettlement (exodus) for other
people in the process of magnetization. Christ points to the way,
seed, rock, fire, vineyard,
using these symbols as crystallization centers of consciousness of
listening. In the second stage, the Gnostic, addressing magnetized
consciousness, begins to interpret
-
atomize, dismember, disaggregate mosaic, created by clutch; large
blocks of coupled chaotic ideas (archetypes) are destroyed. After
grinding, we have "clean sheet", purified substance - the
energy of consciousness, which can be set in motion by the idea of
any difficulty. In addition, a clean sheet is a springboard for
expansion in the surrounding areas of darkness. This process, which
takes place in the mind, has another name - the spread of leprosy
(Lev. 13:13), that is, the purification of body image, of a wild set
of unconditioned reflexes - the house in which lives substance,
turned upwards in its movement. When cleaning of all the territories
is complete, the baptism is finished and goes into a different
quality - enjoying continuous flow, undeniable peace.
90
The
plan of the tragedy is more important than the individual actions of
the characters: Aristotle noted that either may take their place.
Therefore, the lines of Bible stories are also fate lines of every
person: they draw certain geometrical figures. These figures are some
crystal faces, which are clean imageries, symbols, common to all
religions. The lines connecting the stars of the sky in the
constellation, are drawn by people, and everyone can draw them in own
way. However, the world is one, so that in the astrological systems
of different eras and nations constellations match. As Buddha told,
the names may be different, but the essential form (a numerical
expression of the laws) of the same. The heroes of the legends of the
West and East have different names, but they are involved in the same
process (the Eastern tradition says more about the abstract things,
but the names of the parties, i.e., private and human, are more
important for the West). That's the way of the harsh and, at the same
time, great reality of the Bible - a program through which the world
lives. Its implementation is restarted intermittently after a
"reset."
Jewish
woman, reading the Bible story of Joseph's sell by brothers, wept
bitterly regretting him. A year later, when a new cycle of reading
the Pentateuch started, she once again came to this chapter and was
very angry concerning Joseph, "Fool, serves you right! You knew
from last year, which a piece brothers made for you, - what for you
again trusted to them?"
(From
folklore)
The
work of the program is just expressed in the eternal alternation of
multifaceted symbols of one-being.
In
my delirium, I am tormented by one
Infinity
of some sharp lines
And
continuous bell ringing
As
the chimes clinging eternity.
I
think that after the death of the so -
With
agonizing hope of resurrection
Eyes
stare into surrounding darkness
Looking
for a long-familiar vision.
But
in the primordial mist ocean
No
voices, no green grass
But
only cubes, diamonds, and angles
And
evil, endless ringing.
(Gumilev.
Patient)
Gradually
introducing basic concepts and symbols, we will move to more complex
stories, and they will be spread in waves which seem to never end.
All the figures come from a single point - United Center - and then
get into it. As in theoretical physics, such pictures-diagrams are
constructed according to certain topological laws given by God.
I
am mad in the forest of primeval Numbers!
I
open my eyes: their miracles are all around!
I
close my eyes, they in me!
And
round the circle in countless combinations,
They
slide into memories.
I'm
dying, I'm gone,
Breaking
face on the stone rocks.
(E.
Verhaeren)
Sacred
madness is the loss of moral categories of our phenomenal world, the
acquisition of high hopes, for which the person is ready to sacrifice
his life. The eternal law is expressed only by primordial number, it
is always in the past, not in the present, it can only be moved
closer. The law becomes visible as soon as the person begins
contemplation and sees clearly the supreme. Close
eyes
means
to move from the outer to the inner spiritual practices. Countless
combinations
are
numeric circles, complex dynamic archetypes and combined
symbols-images, actively turning combinations (in Kabbalah these are
Partzufim). Memories
are
karma, accumulated fate of the world, the storage of unconscious. The
mind of man is broken by the tables of the Torah.

characters are living with full life (John 10:10), passing from one
book to another. Key scenes are repeated at different turns of the
spiral which connects both the motion in a circle and a forward
motion; their heroes change the names as the masks that we help them
to remove. It seems that the images multiply, but in fact the names
alternate to give an impetus to the same event, to allow to see it
from different angles. In an instant, the intersection of different
times occurs. Plotting curves and broken lines, the trajectories come
back to the beginning again and connect with God. Jung noted that the
images of dreams of a man are moving in the same spirals.
Back
on the escalator
And
back on a leash
The
trajectory of the loop
Over
every such beauty
heights,
voids, and sewage.
(J.
Dyagileva)
Conversely,
the same names connect person from different "ages" (once
again we recall that in fact the biblical reality is timeless). By
their common destiny, these characters are merged into one person
under the laws of actor play. In fact, Jesus Christ, Joshua, the
disciple of Moses, and the high priest Joshua from the Zechariah book
are the same person, as well as the patriarch Judah, and Judas
Iscariot; Moses' sister Miriam, the mother of Jesus and Mary
Magdalene ... Evidence van be always found regarding the specific
episodes of Scripture.
Consonance
of words are not random!
Let
sayings far,
In
them are unsolved mysteries of
Always
living language.
(Bryusov)
Many-dimensional
(multisheet) structure of the world justifies quick flipping of the
Bible during interpretation process, and this action may seem
feverishly disjointed, like Tarot divination. As explained by Buddha,
the nodes on the handkerchief can be unleashed only in reverse order
of their knotting. The latter does not coincide with the apparent
historical sequence. Any name in the Bible has a unique numeric
content and means one who makes some important iterative process, a
large stage in the life of mankind.
92
We
sketched picture which may seem pessimistic - too much seems
predetermined. However, only the knowledge (understanding of the real
situation) allows one to properly raise the question of the right
exit and freedom. It gives a huge advantage in this world, and
beyond, helping to find the only way that leads to life (Matthew
7:14).
See
if there is any offensive way in me, and lead me in the way
everlasting.
(Psalms
138(139):24)
For
the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous, but the way of the ungodly
shall perish.
(Psalms
1:6, cf. Jer. 32:19)
The
same stories in different books of the Bible (or different
scriptures) can have different finishes, and to choose the good and
correct (1 Thess. 5:21) is in our hands. This is very important:
we'll go the chosen path themselves. The text is not just a
description of life, but its most important part, the tool of
experience. According to M. Mamardashvili, the only way to change a
situation - to unravel it in the space of the text. "Dimensionality"
of such a space is wider than that of any physical or imaginary
world.
When
a person suffers, he must understand his actions, and if he did not
find in them sin, he can explain the suffering by his poor studying
Torah, and if this assumption is not true, then it probably suffering
due to love of God.
(Talmud,
Berachot)
One
may throw accusations of mysticism, but a simple denial of this
reality does not go away. Even some academic scientists who try to
work hard with the text (for example, the founders of semiotics - the
new humanitarian science about the symbols) approach closely to this
understanding.
93
Evaluation
of an image, whatever it may be - the most high or low, - can easily
turn inside out during the motion (rotation, dance) at different
turns of the spiral. For those who know the higher geometry, it can
be explained: the left and right are reversed in going non-orientable
surface in which the inner and outer side are the same, for example,
a MЖbius strip or a Klein bottle. The last area, by the way, was
used by Levi-Strauss to describe mythological structures of the world
(the body of God). These exercises are very useful for the recovery
of consciousness.
Just
imagine some wriggle surface and the movement of meaning deciphering
- reversing surface. Well, there are such paradoxical figures in
geometry. There, they look like a smart play, but in the spiritual
life, most incredible of abstract geometry is realized... Only
exteriorization of ambition takes us out of this infernal cycle of
repetition of malice, hatred, human divisions, etc.
(M.
Mamardashvili. Psychological topology of path)
Our
flat thinking can catch glimpses of truth in this infernal (i.e.
essentially hell) world only coming up to some image from different
angles, as to the edges of the crater, or a black hole.
And
the Lord said, Behold a place by me, and stand upon a rock: And it
shall come to pass, while my glory, I will put thee in a cleft of the
rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed, and I will take
away my hand, you shall see my back, and face my not be seen [you].
(Exodus
33:21-23)
In
addition, as rigorous mathematical theorem prove, approaching to
"essential singularity" point, you can get any result ...
Indulge in a one-sided interpretation, we are bound to hang out
between two extremes - from right to left, to go wobbly gait.
The
legs of the lame hang loose: So is a parable in the mouth of fools.
(Proverbs
26:7)
We
have to go into higher and lower, fall and get up.
Oh
dear friend, dear crutches,
To
which paradise you have led lame!
(M.
Kuzmin)
94
To
some extent, all of this is inevitable: cloven hooves, along with the
ability to regurgitate the cud is the biblical sign of clean animal,
a symbol of the duality, of binary form, the splitting of the
original consciousness. Hoofs,
animal shoes, provide a firm footing on the ground, i.e. the
material, and also the relationship with the ancestors, contact with
the underworld.
You
may eat any animal with divided hooves and that chews the cud.
(Leviticus
11:3)
But
the truth is that the approval process has not yet acquired the
purity (purity itself is also just extreme). For the most part is
about the same as it was with Buridan ass, which was not able to
satisfy their hunger.
Issachar
is a strong ass, lying between the channels of water.
(Genesis
49:15)
Two
channels is the division of a unity into two categories: God acts as
a law, through the category of commandments and prohibitions, high
and low, good and evil. Buridan ass lies, exploring the law and being
engaged in theory, but in the end he is not going anywhere to escape
and be saved. Nobody gets benefit from this law.
Silly
soul is usually reeling from side to side ... and she believes that
the truth.
(Teachings
of Silvanus. Nag Hammadi)
These
are manifestations of human morality and self-righteousness.
The
wisdom of the prudent man is to understand his way, but the folly of
fools is deceit.
(Proverbs
14:8)
So
is foolish - to lead constantly to confusion and keep in doubt. Good
or evil? True or false? What have we to wait, pleasant or serious?
But our reader is not such, he is mature and determined, he "shall
eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their hooves in pieces"
(Zechariah 11:16). To correctly understand the sentence, let's
interpret it, separate into components, merge into the mind wind.
Meat
is
the body, the flesh of the law, a code of regulations, mobile forms
of forces, remote living principle of being. Fat
is
a bull for slaughter, the lamb of sacrifice on the altar of perfect
knowledge. Bull
is
a symbol of the human person, who gives himself to the beyond:
I
call a Brahmin who is powerful, like a bull, noble, courageous,
victorious, has great wisdom, is free from desires, perfect and
enlightened.
(Dhammapada)
Since
in this process an old and decrepit is dying and a new one is born
for the beyond, there is a phrase in the Bible: "killing an ox
is the same as killing a human being" (Isaiah 66:3). The matter
is to kill a vicious, imperfect beginning, destroy bonds, remove the
restrictions of human morality. Priest of this action and at the same
time the victim is the practicing person.
And
the inside of the victim and his legs shall he wash in water: and the
priest shall burn all on the altar is a burnt offering, a sacrifice
of a sweet savor unto the Lord.
(Leviticus
1:9, cf. Jn. 13:10, Eph. 5:2)
Tear
off the hooves
means
to eliminate ambiguity of human morality, which is an abomination for
God (Luke 16:15), to stop flouncing between good and evil, to destroy
mental whoredom between the two extremes. At the same time - be free
from family ties by breaking relations with the ancestors. "Whoever
does not hate his own father and mother ... can not be my disciple"
(Luke 14:26), "Follow me, and let the dead bury their dead"
(Matt. 8:22).
95
In
order to understand our book and collect the puzzle, the reader must
learn to monitor not only one idea, but go all the roads at once,
simultaneously. This is possible for an eagle soaring in height, in
another dimension. In the traditional description, the collection of
higher truths is presented as heavenly network where each node is a
precious crystal; each face reflects the brilliance of all the rest.
Separate stone network is the archetype, the myth, the firmware of
the world, a set of rules, the deity, complex of ideas and powers.
Contemplative person, seeking for higher truths, inevitably falls
into the space of the labyrinth without the input and output, which
has not a dense body, but only the structure woven of the feelings
and ideas. Being seen only by the inner vision after the necessary
training, the network is a fatal trap for carried away by higher
contemplation, false final stop on the way in a beautiful and
bountiful land. But the same network provides the only happy
possibility - to overcome the quicksand of endless ideas and find the
continuation of the path on the other side. Who has not been there,
does not acquire higher knowledge - yet the new world begins with
Eden. As the Buddha said, " accept all the bad as counsel to
achieve excellence." But the final destination is far away, so
you should at least read through this book, which is also based on
the principle of the crystal, graph, cell network.
No!
.. Once I got out of a lover,
Decent
this blessing time,
Then
should I become a villain
Cursing
the fun of our idle days.
I
wove a snare: by skillful interpretation of
Dreams,
absurd rumors drunken chatter
I
sparked death hatred.
(Shakespeare.
Richard III)
We
add: hatred that is felt by seeking perfection to his dark,
oppressive top - sin.
96
Knowledge
gained during the study of a single piece of the world, the world of
the beyond, can be also compared with diamond, the crystal,
transparent in all directions, solid and indestructible, consistently
combining all opposites. But for ambivalent, split human
consciousness any phenomenon appears in black and white, the
continuity is broken, and the knowledge in the verbal expression
takes the discrete fractional form of lies.
What
good is it, if you give them "whole"?
The
audience pinches it to pieces.
(Goethe.
Faust)
At
least, that's how a person perceives the infinite. A tool for eternal
understanding things as they are. is to transform the non-dual
consciousness is eternal.
By
pincers of this wisdom that is
Diamond,
he pulls out contradictions of will.
Unravelling
loops of all fantasies
He
disbanded the network of ignorance,
And
who was connected, here it is, without chains.
(Ashvaghosha.
Life of the Buddha)
For
those who tend to get stuck in a dualistic understanding, the Bible
makes a serious warning.
A
double minded man is unstable in all his ways.
(James
1:8)
Woe
to timid hearts and hands of weak and a sinner, walking in two ways!
(Sirach
2:12)
Here,
of course, the duality of good and evil is meant. True fear of God,
which is closely associated with faith and love, just destroys it.
Do
not be suspicious of the fear of the Lord and not to start him with a
double heart.
(Sirach
1:28)
The
Lord of hosts, Him you shall hallow; let Him be your fear, and let
Him be your dread. He will be as a sanctuary, but a stone of
stumbling and a rock of offense to both the houses of Israel, as a
trap and a snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem. And many among them
shall stumble; they shall fall and be broken, be snared and taken.
(Isaiah
8:13-15)
And
do not boggle before your lord,
Otherwise
God, the master of all masters,
Will
punish you for your duplicity,
Make
you kill each other.
(Shakespeare.
Richard III)
97
When
a simple unsophisticated "man from the crowd" refers to a
perfect knowledge - the Word, he is frightened and lost, and just in
case prays. Or, conversely, he is inspired, lights up, becomes calm:
"I read the book, have become even wiser and now will offer to
God reasonable praise and even a bit of praying, bow and light a
candle." But so praying and asking for blessings, the person
ignores again (very serious) warning of Buddha: "Whoever does
not understand my teaching, he is praying for me." Light truth
becomes dark ritual, and for easy going and splendor, is lubricated
by incense of leaf words:
god
is greater than man people will pray to god and he is pleased with
him all that god is doing with the man to bring back his soul from
the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living can not be
god for a lie or a true injustice almighty god will not do wickedly,
and the almighty pervert judgment and who runs with all the universes
because his eyes are upon the ways of man's god is powerful if they
obey and serve him shall spend their days in prosperity and their
years in pleasures here god exalteth by his power to remember that
praise his deeds that people see god's great and we can not know him
listen to his voice, and the sound coming from his mouth god thunders
wondrously with his voice makes the great things we can not
comprehend wonderful is perfect in knowledge neighborhood god awful
splendor of the court, he is excellent in power, and in plenty of
justice therefore yes awe before him and let people stand in awe
these are wise of heart
[When
Elihu stopped talking - the Septuagint] the Lord answered Job out of
the whirlwind and said, Who is this that darkens counsel by words
without knowledge?
(Job
33-38)
Words
of Elihu, recalling the speech of some Christian preachers contain
banal truths and outright blatant flattery before God. In some places
they have even a parody character. He who has slightly succeeded in
contemplation of transcendent truths, begins with enthusiasm to
preach the law. But praise to God and the kingdom of heaven is empty
speech. According to the apocryphal "Testament of Job," God
condemns Elihu from the clouds, saying that wild animal speaks from
his mouth. It is the feminine chatter, words of unwise, which cost
nothing. We also note that the "words without meaning,"
utters not a Gnostic, the exclusive prerogative of the Gnostic is a
reasonable speech:
Heart
seeketh knowledge mouth of fools feed on folly.
An
honest witness tells the truth, but a false witness tells lies.
Folly
brings joy to one who has no sense, but whoever has understanding
keeps a straight course.
The
way of life to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath.
(Proverbs
15:14, 12:17, 15:21, 15:24)
Some
advices from the Bible directly warn from passion by ritual and
ceremonial forms of "salvation" (Ecclesiastes 4:17,
Ezekiel. 8:6-18, etc.). While laughing at the sacred is, generally
speaking, prohibited, to laugh at idols is charged to the credit
(Talmud, Megillah). These include all the primitive human ideas about
God.
98
The
culmination of the Indian epic Mahabharata is the battle on the field
of Kurukshetra (aka Armageddon and also apocalyptic events in the
desert during the exodus of the Jews, ended by holocaust), which was
the struggle between two sides - black and white, high and low, good
and evil. In the end, both sides are destroyed - the Pandavas and the
Kauravas. No doubt, our vices should be finished immediately.
After
all, who is their leader? He is just, o friends,
Bloody
oppressor and murderer.
He
appeared and established on the blood.
He
did not analyze means, but, reaching
Destroyed
all those who had means.
He
is fake diamond, whose shine is bright
Only
by the sparkle of stolen throne.
From
the beginning he was an enemy of God.
(Shakespeare.
Richard III)
Many
teachings and exhortations have sounded from the pages of this book,
and more else will sound, "because my words are not exactly a
lie: before you is perfect in knowledge" (Job 36:4). Trick is in
that to not allow yourself too much and observe safety precautions.
No,
one do not confuses our spirit with empty dreams!
After
all conscience - nonsense. About her repeat only cowards
Scaring
those who are strong and brave.
Fist
is our conscience, sword is our law.
Next,
in a fight! We can not go back.
When
not in heaven - disembark all together in Hell!
(Shakespeare.
Richard III)
We
will relax later.
Praise
be to the Creator and our weapons,
My
victorious friends!
Battle

(Shakespeare.
Richard III)
99
Lets'
move on.
Again,
think ye that we excuse ourselves unto you only? We speak before God
in Christ, and all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying.
(2
Corinthians 12:19)
We
will try to say a word to you - do not be hard for you? However, who
can withhold himself from speaking?
(Job
4:2)
The
authors' intentions concerning the reader are serious enough, and the
initial position is invulnerable (they seem to have lost all sense of
modesty, and measures). Either way, the basis for their belief is
true Scripture.
A:
Is this the way you answer the high priest?
B:
If I said something wrong," Jesus replied, "testify as to
what is wrong. But if I spoke the truth, why did you strike me?
(John
18:22-23, cf. Acts. 23:2-5)
It
is unlikely that our critics can find other designs for discussed
problems, as well as worthy arguments, except a vague dissatisfaction
and the usual references to the authorities.
And
in the boiling pot of former slaughterhouses and troubles
So
much food for our little brains!
We
assigned our enemies on the role of traitors, cowards, Judas
In
the children's game.
(Vladimir
Vysotsky)
Faced
with a difficult truths in an unusual form, the readers like children
turn to their emotions, and start to get angry, looking for external
enemies. By this they only show their unresolved problems. Emotional
assessments are bad assistants in the study of Scripture which
describes not the persons, but the objective processes. For
established themselves in their prejudices, to read the book will be
very difficult. They will try to isolate themselves from the truth by
wall of ignorance. However, ignorance of the law is no excuse:
according to Socrates ignorance is just sin. To feel the reality of
the truth of Scripture, it is not necessarily believe in them.
Grabbing the hot iron ball, one will burnt harder if he does not know
what it is hot (Questions of Milinda).
They
will boldly call you disordered curse,
Protecting
name of evil quite intact.
(AD
Kantemir)
More
difficult it will be for someone who, being himself defiled and
unable to no good works (Titus 1:15), is always looking for an
unclean (Romans 14:14). He will find a reason to condemn thoughts
expressed here, which will inevitably turn against him (Romans
14:23). Betraying the anathema of the book, some malicious people
might think that they successfully escaped the hands of the king's
death, offering bribe to this executioner by their pious indignation.
In fact, it turns out differently: worshiping sordid idols and
attempting to denigrate the noble ideas, they themselves will be
blamed for the false words.
The
sooth and the truth - your judgments are for us.
(Qumran)
However,
even becoming the prosecution, the truth is not useless - it will
speed up the process of personal maturation. Being a double-edged
sword, penetrating into the heart of man (Hebrews 4:12), the word of
God should be spoken and can not be left powerless (Luke 1:37, Isa.
55:11). At some point, the reader may get a tough choice (e.g., as
suggested by Dostoevsky, between Christ and the Truth).
Behold,
this [Christ, the Logos, the Word] is appointed for the fall and
rising of many in Israel and for a sign to be opposed.
(Luke
2:34)
100
The
severity of the material and a serious level of tasks suggests that
the book is not like not only to some, but to many, and it is not too
difficult to predict the full range of individual responses to it,
including very angry looks (Proverbs 25:23). Subconscious mechanism
involving some protest forms is in the people themselves. The
reaction of the public opinion, which is still less interesting, will
be the same as in all times.
While
in you the flattering color of news will not fade,
People,
always to news varnish, will honor us,
And
clever will like naked truth force.
Did
the color fall? Much of the readers will already award,
What
my cheeky mind lechers in you.
(AD
Kantemir)
The
charges against us are often a consequence of hurt pride and a
perfectly legitimate desire to protect the natural human right that
defines the motives of most people. However, true altruism is not to
spread the small goodness in the human world, but offering to God,
love for God, obedience to the Supreme. Selfishness is all that is
done for himself, when God becomes merely a convenient tool and an
element of personal existence. The reader will need some effort to
the realization that there are things more important than liberal
(or, conversely, dogmatic) values. The inexorable time pushes to this
understanding, and loose or firmed in sectarian ideas will have
difficulty.
Their
anger and rage senile are
Already
powerless these days -
So
let them now rave
At
their own coffin!
(Minaev)
If
we approach the matter more simply, the answer to the certain level
criticism is universal and quite rude:
Answer
a fool according to his folly, lest he be wise in his own conceit.
(Proverbs
26:5)
The
Fool (aka agnostic, though "believer") will never be clever
and he needs we speak plainly about it. For his own good.
101
Only
those are able to find the truth, which are looking for it - that in
itself provides an open mind and a willingness to accept. Through the
study of the book many can even partake of the fruit of the truth (or
bite, as did Adam and Eve in paradise). The
acquisition of fruit
(Buddhist
term) will require more effort. In general, the reader is in any case
will have to go through fairly serious challenges, overcoming his
ignorance, pride, jealousy and other bad habits.
-
You know, you can show idiot to a lot of people.
-
Many people would call you an idiot, too. You are probably stalking
hidden purpose to send buyers to where your companions sell lamps, or
perhaps you do not want me to get lamp.
-
I'm worse than you think. Instead of promising you "lamp shop"
and promote your bare suggestion that you will find there a solution
of your problems, I first check to see if you know how to read. I
want to know if you had already come close to such store or lamps
were purchased for you otherwise.
Two
looked sadly at each other and left.
(Idris
Shah. Tales of dervishes)
For
those who do not know what they want, our promises may sound rather
ambiguous, and they will not receive no external satisfaction in the
near future, because they did not satisfy their desires, did not used
the work, did not pay attention. So that these are out of luck, they
can not do and get. In fact the main problem of the highest semiotics
(gnosis) is the organization of a dialogue between two principles:
the searching and dark, prospector and gold rock, chipper and wood,
water-carrier and river. If there is not dialogue, but our passivity,
then we have a cooperation between the two matters - the pursuer and
the donkey, the executioner and a thief, the juicer and a lemon.
Embarrassed
by strange language,
A
muzhik walked being confused,
And
rapprochement of progressive with a muzhik
Ended
at this stage.
One
of them went "home"
Being
stirred by conversation,
Another
would have walked home,
But
his house burned down in the winter.
(Minaev)
House,
burned-out
in the winter,
is the image of the root problems solved incorrectly in the main
period of life when a choice and a search of saving issue in himself
took place. There is no home for someone who does not take care of
himself in time. But there was. But burned. The same motif is the
most persistent in the Bible: "Repent", "Save
yourselves from the wrath of God," etc. And that is most
interesting, the scriptures, one and all, argue that each person in
his life has a stretch of road where he knowingly and without the
interference can do the most important choice. And Buddhism
determines all
human
life as precious, since only a human can realize the perfection, and
with no time limit: "A person is never too old for the truth
..." Heaven is for those who built it, in the hell stay those
who planned and carried it despite the difficulties. As by a man came
death, by a man has come also the resurrection (1 Cor. 15:21). It is
time to think about the people.
I
love thou so much, that will not pause
To
send thy soul to heaven,
If
heaven will accept my gift.
(Shakespeare.
Richard III)
To
solve the problem of gaining freedom, we have to formulate an ethics
of its search. Whoever did it, gets also ethics of acquiring
knowledge. Mastered the knowledge possesses also practical means. The
process of liberation takes place in several stages, the first of
which is the morality (in the East - sila-paramita), that is the
correct formulation of ideas, awareness of the ethical need for
search of salvation. Only then truth is acquired, which is the most
dangerous thing, as embodying it a person gets in his hands a
powerful weapon, including the possibility of the destruction of the
world (and himself).
102
The
result of the spiritual practice depends on true comprehension. The
finder of a proper and weighty truth can move far. All is determined
by inquirements of a person, by how much he wanted and succeeded. If
you agreed to half of the results and small presents of fate, you can
not expect from it the best gifts. Stopping the moment like Faust, a
person loses the ability to move on. But he still has to go, and
better, if in the right and not in the wrong direction. Anyone who is
looking for simple pleasures in the beyond, will incline to the
mirror waters as Tantal, and his thirst will only intensify, and
digestion will disturbed. In our book, everyone will see a part of
himself, thus it can serve as an effective tool for self-diagnosis.
Five
thousand bhikkhus, Bhikshuni, Upasaka and Upasika rose, bowed to the
Buddha and left. Why? The roots of sin in them were deep and
complacency big. They thought they had found what they have not found
... With this fault they could not stay in the great assembly.
Honored One was silent, did not stop them ...
Buddha
said, "Sentient beings present in my assembly have no leaves,
there remained only those who are pure and not covered by errors.
Shariputra, it is very good that these people full of complacency
have gone! Listen, truly I will preach for you."
(Lotus
Sutra)
Addressing
the crowd, and even the nearest disciples, who were offended by
"strange words," Jesus said, "Will ye also go away?"
(John 6:66-67). It will be very difficult to read all volumes of the
book
up
to the end, but this is not required - it is sufficient if the reader
will find something useful to him (or in him) and stop in time,
reaching the desired personal level in this harsh game. In order to
change the man's fate for the better, it is often sufficient to
understand only one word.
103
In
a sense, the book could not be not written: the nature of does not
like emptiness. Though without great enthusiasm and joy, the authors
do their modest debt. However, also not without pleasure.
Son
of man, I made you a watchman unto the house of Israel, and thou
shalt hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
(Ezekiel
3:17)
But
almost criminal,
as
a loss of face,
abstaining
from speech
for
a dumb liar.
(Yevgeny
Yevtushenko)
Another
reason is objective and unbiased approach, strictly scientific method
of surveying, and mapping of ideas of the book to the moment.
Again,
O Lord, You came among us
For
information on the ground - what should become of it.
(Shakespeare.
Richard III)
104
Also
more personal motives are possible (at least theoretically). Besides
the moral obligation, they suggest promising both carrot and stick.
For
if I preach the gospel, I have nothing to boast of, for necessity is
laid upon me, and woe to me if you do not preach the Gospel!
(1
Corinthians 9:16)
Though
wickedness be sweet in his mouth, though he hide it under his tongue;
Though
he spare it, and forsake it not; but keep it still within his mouth:
Yet
his meat in his bowels is turned, it is the gall of asps within him.
(Job
20:12-14)
In
all ages, the main motive of public-benefit action was intention of
all to give the good to all their own, to instruct in a good and lead
to a better. Promoting this high concept, no conditionality was taken
into account.
Where
there is no revelation, the people cast off restraint;
But
happy is he who keeps the law.
A
servant will not be corrected by mere words;
For
though he understands, he will not respond.
(Proverbs
29:18-19)
Considering
the long history of the matter of overall salvation and numerous
unsuccessful attempts by others to complete the work, taking into
account that the end is not near, but the time would be, we made one
more effort for the sake of the common good.
Do
not strain your mind by
Unraveling
the mysteries.
I'll
tell you myself what happened;
You
will soon understand everything. In the meantime,
Surrender
to pleasure, experience happiness.
(Shakespeare.
Storm)
105
Our
first thought when we decided to write this book was, "What for
write it? So much has been written. Probably, to write is not needed.
Or needed? If the reader will not understand and will not accept,
this is wasted labor and travail. Maybe he knows more than we do? No,
he does not know, for sure. Just we have to fascinate him by good.
Who needs that? Everyone needs, without exception..."
A:
I'm all sorrow, there is no more my strength!
Can
we leave from here?
B:
At the very least, we must agree
That
intimate poetry is with them.
(Goethe.
Faust)
Have
patience, dear friends, just patience. "That the soul be without
knowledge, it is not good" (Proverbs 19:2). Since we know that,
we apply directly to the soul, to its dark top. Well, for example,
like Freud, who elevated interpretation to the rank of clinical
medicine. Meanwhile, a symbolic description of the feminine source is
given in the Bible:
Son
of man, a riddle, and tell a parable unto the house of Israel. And
say, Thus saith the Lord God: A great eagle with great wings, long
feathers, fluffy, colorful, came unto Lebanon, and took the top of a
cedar ...
(Ezekiel
17:2-3)
I
do not know what to say. World is milled.
Eagles
get nowhere, sparrows - expanse.
When
clowns get out in princes,
Lords
have to go into buffoons.
(Shakespeare.
Richard III)
These
examples are given here in order to indicate the variety of
techniques of interpretation, the multiplicity of ways of working
with texts: by analogy (as often the kings asked Buddhist teachers,
"make a comparison"), through the "splitting", an
indirect conclusion, "direct entry" (into Pardes of Torah,
i.e., in Kabbalistic paradise), and so, what possibly will be said
later.
I
would present stronger arguments too
Whenever
in deference to whom Coy
The
boundaries of language I would not bet.
(Shakespeare.
Richard III)
The
Bible gives many examples of how attempts to penetrate and explain,
and of refusal of knowledge:
There
are three things that are too wonderful for me, and the four I do not
understand: the way of an eagle in the sky, the way of a serpent on a
rock, the way of the ship in a sea, and the way of a man with a maid.
(Proverbs
30:18-19)
On
the way, we have already pointed out the eagle, serpent
is
the Son of Man (John 3:14), rock
is
the stone where the church is built (Matt. 16:18); ship
is
the ark sailing through the deluge, when there is the washing away of
dirt at the end of the world period; union of man and woman in a
blissful union is the
bridal chamber.
Our book tells about all this in the following volumes.
The
answer is still a mystery;
It
is not the goal, but only laying of
Mighty
way ...
(N.
Matveeva)
It
is pity, the book has the potential to be endless.
Though
you grind a fool in a mortar, grinding them like grain with a pestle,
you will not remove their folly from.
(Proverbs
27:22)
But
we are not in a hurry to despair because of someone's individual
small failures:
Thank
you, fellow citizens, friends:
By
unanimous shouts of approval
You
give a witnesses, how you are wise.
(Shakespeare.
Richard III)
Of
course, separate attacks, criticism and rebuttal are possible and
even inevitable against written by us, and knowing this, we have
forgiven all in advance.
God
have mercy, no one shouted.
As
rocks, as dumb idols,
Stared
at each other, being pale.
I
began to blame them, asked the mayor,
What
means their obstinate silence;
He
told me: the people of the speeches, they say, was not used
But
accustomed, say, to listen to herald.
...
I'll
ask you to forgive me for
That,
being immersed in the prayer vigil,
Have
released a friendly call not immediately.
(Shakespeare.
Richard III)
And
the distance between saying and giving ear is to be within reasonable
limits.
But
Jesus did not commit himself unto them, because he knew all men and
needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in
man.
(John
2:24-25)
106
King
Solomon, speaking about the four things, is repeated by Buddhist
Jataka
of reed for drinking,
which gives a number of indications to the only true solution of very
complex problems, as well as useful advice to readers:
We
add that in the World Age, which lasts to this day, there are four
age-old phenomenon. You ask, "What?" These are: first is a
hare on the moon who abides there until the end of World Ages.
The
words "World Age" mean that in present, and in the past and
in the future world - always - four miraculous events will be. These
four faces, which are manifested by Lord, describe a secret of the
four-letter name of God (Tetragrammaton). Rabbit-bodhisattva, whose
image is on the moon-mirror is Jacob, the Jewish patriarch seeing the
mysteries, contemplating the stars. Moon, dressed in white robes is
the sky goddess, edifying and revealing secrets. She was worshiped by
the ancient Jews, being symbolically Shekinah. Implementing mirrored
yoga, the rabbit jumps into the fire and just in this way gets to the
moon. Thus, in true self-sacrifice, he achieves his goal - personal
perfection.
The
second is the fire, which until the end of the Age will not touch the
place spared by forest fire, as described in the Jataka of quail.
The
main character in the late period of the world is fire,
which, being emitted from the third eye of Shiva, destroys and burns
the entire world. However, the fire did not affect the quail, who
barely stands on two weak legs and is praising by his weakness (cf. 2
Cor. 11:30). The merit of the righteous is that he is not at war with
God, but is guarded by Him and thus will never die. To be saved, you
must generate the correct thought, go to abdicate, accept and cease
all attempts to defeat this fire.
Third
is home of potter Ghatikary, over which up no drop of rain will spill
to the end of Age.
Being
under the rain
means
to get to trial, that is, to the deluge coming from the top. The Word
of God as a punishment falls on the sinner, who dug a deep hole with
burning coals for himself. Potter,
educational of human lives (Jeremiah 18), is going to judge the world
in hell, where the fire never goes out. This is the destiny of Moses
in all ages; forced bath is not threatened for him, because he
mastered the Law and will no longer condemn God. Once endured, he
became untouchable.
And
finally - stalks of cane that grows around the lake near Nalakapany
that they continue to the end of the Age of hollow inside. Here are
the four miracles that have been, are and will be in this World Age.
Life
energy is circulating inside the hollow cane
stem
-
Sushumna channel in the spine of the individual. The void in the stem
is the Buddhist doctrine of emptiness that was born in ancient Egypt.
This is the perfect doctrine of universal and eternal relativity,
which, in contrast to the dead words, gives insight of transcendent
wisdom (Prajnaparamita). At the same time, emptiness is only one of
the transcendental qualities, a tool to describe the properties of
God, for Whom nothing is constant and stable, there is no opposition
of good and evil.
107
Before
our book, all are equal - erudite scholar, and smart philosopher, and
sophisticated theologian, and a simple, uneducated (but reasonable)
man. When any experienced and wise seeker of truth comes in contact
with it, he will get something important. Even if he was faced with
similar ideas a thousand times before, he could not find them for
yourself.
In
his old age he was known as Elder Losaka Tissa; he was always
unlucky, and but little was given to him. The story goes that, no
matter how lavish the charity, he never got enough to eat, but only
just enough to keep himself alive. A single ladle of rice seemed to
fill his alms-bowl to the brim, so that the charitable thought his
bowl was full and bestowed the rest of their rice on the next. When
rice was being put into his bowl, it is said that the rice in the
giver's dish used to vanish away. And so with every kind of food.
Even when, as time went by, he had developed Discernment and so won
the highest Fruit which is Arahatship, he still got but little.
(Losaka
Jataka)
We
discussed the symbol of food,
to fill the stomach means to learn the truths and digest the secrets.
Begging
are
earthly people, the poor in spirit who come knocking and looking for
insight, turning to the scriptures. In response, something is given,
but always - somehow not too much. Just some insight comes from above
to the seeker, it almost immediately disappears. Just one hand gives,
getting dream of happiness, the other hand takes away, emptying the
cup of consciousness. This is the mechanism of false hope from
Pandora's box, temptation and seduction. Even when a person takes
possession of the law and develops inner vision - the ability to
produce the most spiritual sustenance, and then acquires other higher
abilities and reaches any selfish ends, including the fruit of
arahatship
(personal
holiness), he can not feed himself. So it was with our reader - all
his knowledge, dedication and dreams forever turned to dust. But it
lasted only as long as it he did not pick up this book. Generously
applying spiritual food without measure (John 3:34), we provide also
something different, saying:
"Come,
brother Tissa," said Sariputta, "'tis I must stand with the
bowl; sit you down and eat. If the bowl left my hand, everything in
it would vanish away."
So
the venerable Elder Losaka Tissa ate the sweets, whilst the exalted
Captain of the Faith stood holding the bowl; and thanks to the
latter's merits and efficacy the food did not vanish. So the Elder
Losaka Tissa ate as much as he wanted and was satisfied,
(Ibid.)
By
our arguments, methods and sequence of presentation, we help to every
intelligent man, opening the book with a good intention, to see the
problem in its active form which is the most useful to him in person.
...
The people stood in their place. And he read in the book of the law
of God distinctly, and connected explanation, and the people
understood the reading.
(Nehemiah
8:7-8)
Holding
the bowl of consciousness of the reader, we will, as necessary, to
pour spiritual knowledge into it, up to his full insight. However, if
our readers will again be frivolous to wander at random 'spiritual'
literature or seek assistance in various religious organizations and
societies, to "lock in" their faith by rituals, all this
grace will suddenly end, and a waste of time and effort will start
again.
108
On
the other hand, the authors, being experienced in such matters, do
not intend to take on too much responsibility.
He
lightly scribbled something expected by groundlings [audience
orchestra] or Holy Spirit dictated, and making a fortune, threw the
pen, almost at random presenting us as inexhaustible pages, and
retired...
(JL
Borges. Page of Shakespeare)
After
becoming acquainted with our work all the burden, both personal and
global, will inevitably fall on the shoulders of the reader, even
that one, who now holds the book.
Think
about whether it is time, my friend, my dear,
Go
to meet my speeches,
Do
you want the world escaped unexpectedly adversity?
After
all, if at the eternal grave
I
have to shut up these words,
That
judgment day will drag on for years.
(Goethe)
In
the Day of Judgment, words will be weighed, through which one is both
justified and condemned. If readers who have long remained in
idleness, take over this weight and start a useful spiritual work,
the painful process of judgment of the world may take a very long
time. We very much look forward to their new forces, but at the same
time provide for any scenarios.
I'll
tell you a story with a mystery, and you solve. If you understand it,
but will not say a clue, then the great sin will fall on you. Well,
if you do not understand, then sin will not be.
(Twenty-five
stories by Vetala, cf. Jn. 9:41, 15:22)
109
Beyond
the core, the curious reader may a number of smaller questions to
authors on their own position and circumstance. Of course, here too,
it was not without some secondary problems that are inevitable in our
world.
Then
Agrippa said unto Paul, Almost thou persuade me to become a
Christian. Paul said, I would to God that you never know how many,
not only you, but also all that hear me this day, and altogether such
as I am, except these (?) bonds.
(Acts
26:28-29, cf. Phil. 1:13)
Being
free, St. Paul "has become all things to all men, that he might
by all means save some" (1 Cor. 9:19-22). Comprehensive answer
to personal questions usually is not given, so did Christ (Matthew
27:11-14; sense of silence of Jesus at the trial before Pilate will
become clear only towards the end of the book).
However, we will give one more piece, useful for the
self-determination of the reader.
If
you say, I am a Jew, no one moves. If you say, I am Roman, no one was
worried. If you say, I am Hellene, a barbarian, a slave, a free - no
one shudder. If you are [saying]: I am a Christian - [all] shake. If
I could [get] a sign that [the Archons (?), i.e., the power of this
world] would be unable to bear - a name!
(Gospel
of Philip 49)
The
apostles themselves, far from being liberated from the power of
Caesar, find it difficult to answer the question of who they are.
They only list their qualities and conditions and express their
intention to become true Christians. Anyway, the name is not just a
self-designation, or social status, it implies involvement in the
actual processes and active participation.
110
We
present further possible criticism in our address.
You
taught me to talk
In
your language. Now I know
How
to curse, - thanks for that.
Let
the plague will carry both of you
And
your tongue.
(Shakespeare.
Storm)
There
are good reasons to suspect that the authors did not apply any
systematic work and all the more so specific literary tricks, and a
book was being written by itself.
In
general, it was as if a friend of mine, which I told you, had
intended to write something, because he kept a lot of cards and
leaflets, probably expecting that in the end they will stick together
without much damage ... perhaps expecting that this sketchy
information ever shed light on inner workings ... [obscenity]. Of
course, if the whole mass of cards and leaflets will connect to
something sensible, what did not actually happen, for reasons partly
clear from the documents themselves.
(J.
Cortazar. Manuel book)
Authors
should recognize that this preparatory work, although more intense,
actually took place. Then our work was the "organized in best
way and elsewhere fixed many times" (Grimmelsgausen.
Simplicissimus). Because we do not rely on innocuous secular
documents, but, to put it mildly, on serious literature, there is
every reason to hope for a happy outcome, rather than just leave the
reader in the chaos of construction site. Bonding of material should
happen in his mind to give rise to a new organism. In
natural-philosophical language, this process corresponds to the
creation of the world (planets, stars, the universe, ...), in this
case - the personal world, and in modern biology it is described as
mitosis, cell division, the implementation of the gene pool.
Who
has put wisdom in the heart, or who hath given understanding to the
mind? Who can number the clouds by wisdom and keep bottles of heaven,
when the dust turns to mud and boulders stick together?
(Job
38:36-38)
111
The
reader will find in this book vitrified ash - knowledge, survived
after previous combustion of the world, i.e. apocalyptic burning of
matter by God. They act as the remnants of interpretations, relating
to scattered fragments of Scripture. In some ways, a critical
approach is right: traces of the hidden meaning are found only in the
meticulous reading of the Bible. When, during the study of sacral
texts, people record personal discoveries on the paper, they only
carry randomly selected commands and their sets from world hard drive
to their home computer, basing on their naive notions of space, time
and causality. However, they do not know and can not know how to
actually the program, that combines these commands, works, though
they are actively involved in the work by their own destinies. In
order to understand something, we have to interpret (divide in
fractions) strongly mixed material, artificially connected by
external historical canvas, which by no means exhausts the content.
However, we are trying to implement more - to build a new, perform
the alchemical process of melting (as history has shown, those who
were engaged in Gnosticism, sooner or later come to alchemy to
realize their knowledge).
I
alloyed ghost of truths in slender nonsense.
(Voloshin)
Primers
are the sparks of understanding, and as a result there occur solid
clods, stones (i.e., understood meaning units). Restoration of a new
real world from kaleidoscopic fragments requires wandering between
apparently unrelated episodes of Bible, between parallel stories,
apparently (historically) independent events and destinies of people.
For the missing elements we have to turn to other sources. In this
way, the ancient and seemingly faded texts are transformed into an
active form that is irresistible for any reader. Constructive program
described is not brought to an end, and the sense of chaos is
inevitable until over-cleaning is funished.
112
The
topological structure of the book is not easy: the presentation is
accompanied by a large number of citations that are on the crossroads
of different themes and ideas. Some reference sequences of the text
fragments, as well as keywords-symbols that represent cross-cutting
themes of the book (and are the subject of detailed interpretation),
are marked by Italics. At first sight, our method of work includes an
element of chance and unpredictability.
Six,
seven, eight, nine, ten.
Again,
out of place, King and Jack wormed...
Solitaire
comes out! Half of cards are again in the rest.
And
it lasts many wild years!
(S.
Kirsanov. Divination)
However,
we must remember that in serious cases nothing happens accidentally.
As for it will be at the end, will tell the reader - from personal
results, since all said below-above should not leave him on the
sidelines as idle observer.
Solitaire
... turned out. Taking off each card, he
Showed
very distant after millennium, day ...
(Ibid.)
The
book is not finished, because it is open on all sides. Another model
of it is described by Borges in "The Book of Sand" (sand
grains are discrete truths that have not melted yet). This is a book
with no beginning or end, with an infinite number of pages that can
be opened at any place and read each time in new way, and the reps
will never be. If there is a cross-cutting theme in our text, it has
a tendency to go around and come back (hopefully with some useful
results) to the point where the reader began his feat, with a risk of
being permanently lost. For completeness of such feelings, it would
be useful to remove the numbering of sections and pages of the book,
but, for technical reasons, and especially because of the lack of
skill, we postponed this improvement until the next, expanded,
edition.
113
And
yet, it is enough to be hypocrite and shy, it is time to honestly say
that this work is not some popular little book, but a comprehensive
treatise, seriously guide in Sacral Semiotics, Tantric Synergetics,
Relativity Oculism, Universal History of Secret, Transcendental
Gastronomy, Astral Geography and Unlimited Tourism, Blessed
Aesthetics, Applied Sex Geology and All-Purity Balneotherapy. Yes!
And no questions to ask! And Our Reader, the most intelligent,
thoughtful, comprehensive, all-developed and gifted, will find in it
(the book) answers to any his questions, interesting and important
for all. If one has no questions yet, we just want to help him with
the book and, under our support, to further strengthen and develop
his talents and, of course, an outstanding diligence. And who did not
read our book, then let he be so. Things that are known... Smart
people will find something to say about those.
114
We
are making efforts to give, together with the treatment, the antidote
to it. Yet the Gnostic character of the book is fraught with danger
to stuck in it at the uncritical and dogmatic learning certain
"dangerous" ideas, e.g.., scandalous and heretical. These
are all no-trivial thoughts from the point of view of the pious, but
an inexperienced person who is reliable "protected" from
all.
Do
not tempt foreign tongues, but try to forget them:
All
the same, you do not will manage to bite the glass teeth.
Oh,
how painful is flight of another scream -
For
the wicked delights, dashing payment guards.
(Mandelstam)
But
it does not worth to overestimate this problem: at the vulgar level,
all these motives have long been at the hearing, being unconsciously
perceived and naively repeated by modern mass culture, which itself
is creatively impotent. The best defense here is a conscious
attitude; teaching readers to it is also in our mission. As for
authors, the time of the wicked delights has long ago and irrevocably
gone. At least, in the performance of their work they felt plain
tire, rather than addicting and captivating charms and temptations.
And
as consciousness manifested,
Steps
and voices silenced, as well as
Talks
about the mysteries of the different religions,
And
worries about payment for line...
(A
Block)
115
To
return to the Father, the modern prodigal son can not avoid trials,
which began on his way for a long time - after eating the apple and
the expulsion from Eden.
My
son! If thou come to serve the Lord, prepare thy soul for temptation.
(Sirach
2:1)
No
one will enter the kingdom of heaven, which has not passed through
the temptation.
(Agrafa
- saying by Jesus, not included in the Gospel: by Tertullian. De
baptismo)
The
implementation of this process will happen easier after reading, and
therefore this option is preferred. So we try again to calm the most
cautious readers.
No,
my timid watcher,
Dear
scout! I'm not a demon,
No
tempter, by tester,
Whetstone,
compasses, lot, plummet. To measure right, to weigh right
I
want hearts - and into the viscous look
I
dip the eye,
Laying
talk as net...
Cutting
up live furrow,
From
bright stars of my love
In
the foreign soul, as in new one,
Sow
the seed - the star.
(Vyach.
Smith)
Even
falling on good soil, the seeds may not come up immediately, but only
ripe painfully, after a long time. But the result is worth of the
effort - it will be a spark of pure flame. The Indian Kama Sutra
lists 64 forms of knowledge, like 64 hexagrams of the I Ching, and
(in some versions) 64 main yoga asanas. Sixth of the knowledge of
Kamasutra is unfolding
of rice grains and flowers.
Rice grains symbolize the souls of ancestors, these are the seeds
that go into the earth, the underworld and become the hidden
knowledge, which is to germinate. By compiling tracks from the
grains, understanding of the underground world knowledge, forming a
series of ancestors takes place. Flowers mean heavenly knowledge,
which still relies on the ground. White lotus grows from black mud,
but is not sullied by it.
O
sweet sounds! You call powerfully
Me
out of the dust, again in other spheres!
Call
those whose souls are not callous,
And
I - I hear the news, but I have no faith!
(Goethe.
Faust)
116
No
wonder we are comparing the book with the network (mathematically
speaking, with intricate graph). The similarity is not only external,
structural, but also functional. Every truth sees the other through a
complex system of relationships (as opposed to tree,
not only vertical, but also horizontal). The network is thrown far
enough into the sea - in the subconscious mind, passing through the
weakened logic control of excited and hopeful reader. Jataka
of superstitions
mentions
Brahmin nicknamed the "guess the tissues." Cloth
(Latin
textum, like text) is a doctrine, a set of ideas and meanings,
entangled and intertwined to get the whole veil of maya (illusion),
and the Brahmin is Moses, the one who examines the law.
God
revealed to Peter in the canvas clean and unclean
Creatures,
and my book reveals the same to you.
(Goethe,
cf. Acts. 10:10-15)
Canvas,
which saw St. Peter, was gray, consisting of interwoven black and
white threads. Therefore, we also need to consider the ideas of high
and low level, and not be limited by inspired slogans. Network is
woven by shuttle fluctuations in different directions. In the maze of
right and wrong, good and unwholesome lives and deeds, over the
centuries material is accumulated for Judgment, where the network
will finally be dissolved.
Temptation
[by knowledge?] initially is similar to the web, then it becomes a
solid tackle.
(Talmud,
Sukkah)
At
the first contact with the divine one feels only touch of a
weightless cobweb, which links to the beyond world; it can caught
only angels and butterflies. Then the network is growing and falls
into our world.
Seeing
this, Simon Peter fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me,
Lord! because I am a sinful man. For he was astonished, and all that
were with him, at the catch of fish which they had taken was also
James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And
Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not: from henceforth thou shalt catch
men.
(Luke
5:8-10)
Fishes,
shining like silver are the souls of the ancestors, the main treasure
of the world. As you know, Jesus was able to extract directly coins
from fishes (Matt. 17:27), that is the individual fates, separated
from the sansara being ocean.
And
Anthony fished in triumph
Carrion
that weighted
Your
clever diver to his hook.
(Shakespeare.
Antony and Cleopatra)
The
apostles learned from him to catch all the creatures by the law
network, up to the highest kings and gods, devastating other worlds,
so Peter was enought to horror. Now it was time to move on to
communicate with the world of the living.
For
among my people are found wicked men: guard, as birders, fall to the
ground, put a trap, they catch men.
(Jeremiah
5:26, cf. ABB. 1:15-17, Eze. 13:18)
Christian
apostles act not only at sea but also on land. The same mission to
capture and save the souls of men is now available for our readers.
What's
the buzz, what's the hubbub, Ananda? Did fishermen pulled network?
(Chatum
Sutra)
Effective
preaching, which attracted living beings on the path of salvation,
has grave consequences for the person who utters it: he will not hear
in his address nothing but noisy censure and charges (violation of
the customary way of life, causing disease, broken families ...).
Kami
faith is captured, but not learned.
(Shinto
proverb)
Only
a dead knowledge can be learned, the letter of the law; preaching
true faith gives a continuation of life (John 10:10).
So
liars weave a network of hundreds of threads running down from the
language, as from the shuttle, and as if the fishermen fish, entwine
dupes by them.
(Somadeva.
Ocean of Legends)
The
authors again can be suspected in some vested interests, although not
the most vile, and in an effort to collect tribute from the readers
of the book in any form. In fact, only voluntary giving can benefit
for both parties.
Rusuy
set free ten thousand fishes. They were born in heaven and gave him
forty thousand pearls.
(Buddhist
canon)
Moreover,
small mutual gifts should not overshadow the main goal - to achieve
the One,
that is, the kingdom of heaven.
The
man is like a wise fisherman who cast his net into the sea. He pulled
it from the sea full of small fish, among them the wise fisherman
found [one] more [and] good fish. He threw all the small fish in the
sea; he easily chose the large fish. He, who has ears to hear, let
him hear!
(The
Gospel of Thomas, 8, cf. Matt. 13:45-48)
In
any case, the technique of fishing should be used appropriately.
Can
you pull in Leviathan with a fishhook or tie down its tongue
with a rope?
(Job
41:1)
117
Alarmed
reader can be comforted by the fact that no one invites him to become
a follower of the new religion.
Lord
Mahavira said to Gautama:
When
the seer sees the Dharma itself, he sees it through a network of
words. Guess is a network of words, closing the window. From this
indirect observations, sects and systems come. The path proposed to
you, Gautama, is the direct path of the seer. Be vigilant and be seer
of dharma.
(Uttaradhyayanasutra,
Jain religion)
Issues
of religion as a social institution are not treated by the
possibility, if not required: our matter is personal understanding,
based on the eternal texts. As the ancient Romans told, tua
res agitur.
Thus, the typical reaction to our book, "I am able to understand
it, but how will be reading about these passions for others..."
- Is in vain, though outwardly is noble feeling. "Let them be
for you alone" (Prov. 5:16). The true (spiritual) religion
should treat own constructions with a certain sense of critical humor
to give a possibility of going beyond itself. By this it differs from
the sects, professing strict systems of dogmatic assertions and
constraints that are not substantiated by Scripture, but invented by
people. Thus, the authors did not intend to hold anyone in the orbit
of their interests and ideas, despite possible concerns:
Meanwhile,
he spends time in the fables, and

juice comes out of our bag into his one.
(AD
Kantemir)
On
the contrary, we want to give to the reader the personal use of the
golden key to open new shiny personal horizons.
I
am the door: who enters by Me, he shall be saved, and shall go in and
out and find pasture.
(John
10:9)
All
the ways to freedom will be open in front of him.
The
wind blows where it wishes, and you hear its sound, but can not tell
whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born
of the Spirit.
(John
3:8)
118
On
the other hand, those, who are eager to use any means their
irrepressible forces, may try to use the book for the foundation of
new religious organizations - the potential inherent in it, in
principle, is quite good for such mundane purposes.
Am
I not God? Light and grace is
All
round me! Here with wonderful depth
All
the creativity of nature is before me!
(Goethe.
Faust)
A
ready-made models and examples for writing liturgy of Your New Temple
is more than enough in the book:
Put
the whole world on stage,
People
and creatures - magnificent series -
And
through the earth from heaven to hell
Go
steady!
(Ibid.)
We
come again to the fact that even in the church, organized by
ourselves for finding peace for the future, there is no such rest. To
find it, we have to find the truth, the same truth, which will solve
all the issues.
So
you, being jealous about spiritual gifts, try to enrich them for the
edification of the church. So, speaking in an unknown tongue pray
that he may interpret.
(1
Corinthians 14:12-13)
Inside
the church, we gain salvation through the truth for themselves, but
for others it is necessary to prepare the way to the beyond through
the cross.
We
prayed for charter
And
just composed his fingers.
The
glory to departed God,
Prepare
new crosses.
(A.
Barkova)
119
Despite
the resistance of the objective reality and the biblical material
(see Old Testament), we occasionally try to make turns to optimism
and inspire the reader's faith, which would help to continue his hard
work.
There
in no darkness, no death in this world.
We
all are on the seashore,
And
I am one of those who choose the network
When
there is a shoal of immortality.
(Ars.
Tarkovsky)
Do
not assume these calls being insincere; as events unfold we set more
ambitious targets, aiming far beyond the beach. Wonderful chariot is
capable of flight.
Stretching
out the thread, go after the light of air space!
Pay
attention to the paths full of light, created by prayer!
Weave
without nodes the work of glorifying!
Become
Manu, breed divine race!
Tie
the leash to the axes, o employing Soma!
(Rigveda
10.53.6)
When
all the threads unite in a single garment, painful contradictions
disappear and complete understanding is reached. The one who has
found it to be saved. The network will disappear and will become a
valuable pearl necklace.
Go
looking for her, and she will reveal herself to you. Take hold of her
and don't let go. Then you will discover the peace of mind she
offers, and she will become your joy. The signs of slavery you
wear will become signs of royal majesty. Her chains will be your
protection, and you will wear her yoke like a magnificent robe. You
will wear Wisdom like a splendid crown.
(Sirach
6:28-32)
Mystery
of salvation is a crossword puzzle that we have to unravel ourselves,
having only sketchy information; the rest is yet to get. One who does
not want to start the process of unraveling and spends the time
allotted to him, waiting for a magician who will fly to him in the
blue helicopter and bring all the answers, would get nothing. One can
only sympathize with those who remained in chains of inculcated
doctrines, Scripture foretells grief for them.
Education
for a crazy is shackles on his feet, and the chains on his right arm.
(Sirach
21:22)
Lights
are rushing to the call, preparing death to us:
These
seem resigned wanting carry away in fraud
Likened
to heaven holy ambassadors
And
their wicked lies are like singing of angels.
(Goethe.
Faust)
120
The
image of the network, draped over the world, is closely linked to the
image of God. Indra network consists of precious crystals. As the
biblical prophets say, God covers the earth by network and introduces
his people there.
Behold,
I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah ... and stretch over
Jerusalem the measuring line of Samaria.
(4
Kings 21:12-13, cf. Lamentations 2:8, Ezek. 40:3, Zech. 2:1)
The
Law measures, cuts and divides the world into a thousand
pieces-sections. The country, fighting for the rule of law, will
itself bound by it as by a network-trap.
Inhaling
mold of sects, wandering among the trickiest lines;
Until
the honestly prison does not quench,
And
invisible worms eat
Ceremonial
hall of haughty mind.
(E.
Verhaeren)
Trickiest
lines
are
canons, lineages, from which the network is interwoven. Sects
(heresies,
divisions) acquire their own traditions and rituals that will soon
start to seem eternal - covered by old moldy. Worms
are
snakes, which are on the head of Medusa the Gorgon (female wisdom).
Haughty
mind
is
vainly seeking to use its knowledge of the law in the fight against
the Almighty. Gnostics believed that the Old Testament is a network
straddled by God.
This
God, extending one by one the many networks, ranging them in the
field.
(Svetasvatara
Upanishad 5.3)
By
the way, remember that the "loop and network" is the Christ
(Isaiah 8:14-15), i.e. the Word of God, which gives us not only
salvation, but many trials and temptations. According to St. Ephrem
the Syrian, loop swept Judah's neck when he came out of a network of
Christ, which were apostles.
121
There
occurred a chariot, bright, moving at will, drawn by geese and
cranes, entwined by mesh with bells and smelling by marvelous aroma.
(Aranyakaparva,
Ch. 246)
Network
is
the pleroma,
the fullness of being, bells emit charming and attracting sounds to
awaken the faith and begin the process of personal reflection.
Ezekiel chariot is pulled by higher ideas - geese, their two wings
representing the relative and absolute truth. Generally, birds
are
information media, inner voices, angels, symbolizing the flight of
thought and conducting the interpreting knowledge. As discussed in
the poem by Sheikh Attar, thirty birds make up the great bird
Simurgh, although without realizing it.
So
shall the knowledge of wisdom be unto thy soul. If you found it, then
there is a future, and your hope will not be cut off.
(Proverbs
24:14)
In
the Bible (and not only in the Eastern texts) we can find optimistic
fragments about going beyond any barriers, which is possible with the
proper and reasonable approach:
Keep
me from the snares set for me, from the snares of the wicked. But the
wicked shall fall into his net, and I will move.
(Psalm
140:9-10)
122
Ahmed
Al-Tartushi ("The lamp of the authorities", op. By J.L.
Borges) tells this parable:
A
prophet once walked near a stretched network. The bird sitting beside
said, "Did you meet such a simpleton, like the one that pulled
this net to catch me, clearly seeing it?" On the way back the
prophet saw that the bird hit in the net, and was surprised. She
replied: "When the appointed moment comes, we have already no
eyes, no ears."
When
the readers understand the connection of the submitted material with
their own lives, it will be hard to leave its study.
The
prophet is snare of a fowler in all his ways, and hatred is in the
house of his God.
(Hosea
9:8)
As
described in the Jataka
about consent,
quail-Bodhisattva (caring, loving, compassionate mentor) taught the
birds to raise the net and take it from the fowler, consistently
flying. Then quails left the network on a bush of thorns,
where it was very difficult to get it out, while they themselves were
released. But birder, taught by his wife,
waited for their quarrel and struck up a network:
Consistently
acting, the birds carry the network
But
just they quarrel - they all will hang in it.
Only
Bodhisattva with his entourage departs in advance from the network.
Blind
is the world. Few see here clearly. Like a bird freed from the net,
few go to heavens.
(Dhammapada
174)
123
It
seems we again get too carried away by explanations and warnings.
Another methodological tool is offered here by Indian Panchatantra:
Refrain
from the unnecessary threats:
Doubly
dangerous is warned enemy;
Not
wasting words, try
Deal
with the enemy unexpectedly.
Interpretation
is the revelation of the secrets; the war
is
finding weaknesses at the level of ideas, prophecy is a threat. When
an experienced opponent knows how to defend himself, even experienced
enemy does not know how to attack.
When
they shall go, I will let down my net upon them, as birds of bring
them down, I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard.
(Hosea
7:12)
As
a result of work of Moses on the interpretation of the Torah law, all
the road is littered with quails - used and destroyed truths,
celestial bird-messengers.
And
the wind picked up from the Lords, and brought quails from the sea,
and let them fall by the camp, a day's journey on one side and a
day's journey on the other side of the camp, as it were two cubits
from the ground.
(Numbers
11:31)
124
Novelty,
relevance and practical value of the book (the requirements for a
thesis for a degree), and the word "modern", rendered in a
subtitle, can be once more explained as follows. In the book, the
Jewish method pesharim
is
used - interpretation and disclosure of secrets of biblical fragments
by their application to the present situation (in the Qumran texts -
to the destiny of the community). Or, more simply:
The
book of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him, and he had opened the
book, he found the place where it was written: The Spirit of the Lord
is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the
poor, and sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to
the captives, sight to the blind, to release the oppressed, to
proclaim the year of the Lord.
And
he closed the book and gave the attendant, and sat down, and the eyes
of all in the synagogue were fastened on him. And he began to say
unto them, this scripture is fulfilled today in your hearing.
(Luke
4:17-21)
Salvation
is "here and now" (John 5:24-25), lost opportunity will no
longer be repeated.
From
atheism to God is one moment.
From
zero to the total is one moment.
Take
care of this precious moment:
Life
is no less, no more than one moment!
(O.
Khayyam)
One
(single) moment is the Last
Judgment,
where God is seen as the main actor. At this point, all the forces of
the world wake up and complicated transformations occur quickly.
Atheism
is
an attempt to win at this point the state of God through His word,
through the law and the tables, to destroy all own obligations, all
the hopes and promises. This is the fine line of faith, when it is
necessary to do everything. The true believer is ready to make the
jump, and therefore remains in that state of atheism, but does not
worship idols.
In
a time accepted I heard you, and in the day of salvation I have
helped you. Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day
of salvation.
(2
Corinthians 6:2)
Year
of our Lord is the end of the period of the world, unseen spreading
to all people, even though they usually think of it unconsciously,
and in different ways. In Judgment Day events take place with
tremendous intensity.
Alone
the busy day on the battlefield,
And
our harvest will be the eternal peace.
(Shakespeare.
Richard III)
Judgment
is not yet flowing at one moment, but lasts a certain period, when
long-tied knots are untied in the correct sequence. People continue
to live, but at this time there occur the signs of a gradual loss of
old qualities and the emergence of new witness. Into the book of
life, deeds are being written that will determine the fate of man in
the world to come. However, this serious time is just for a loud call
to freedom.
Once
a famous rich man fell sick, but none of his friends come to see him.
Peoples from entourage told him: "All the people owe a debt to
you and fear that being appeared before you, remind you of their
duty, and you demand its immediate return." Then the rich man
said, heralds, "Go into the city and proclaim everywhere:
Such-and-such puts everyone on notice that no one owes to him.
Neither now, during his life, nor to his children - after his death."
(Abul-Faradzh.
book of entertaining stories, cf. Rome. 13:8)
125
In
the last days all occurs in the form of ghostly unreal events, and
people do not believe anything, because at that time transformations
of the beyond take place. People participate in them not just by
bodies, but by their destinies, which are typically not investigates
and not seen. The beyond is the space of fate, of karma savings
recorded in the Book. Signs of ongoing intensive processes will be
watched by everyone, but only a few will see their sense - who are
deliberately included in them from the beginning. All others will
only dimly perceive a change of their own destinies as a consequence
of common destiny.
You
say mysterious and scary.
In
your eyes is a threat. How you are pale!
Who
sent you? Why are you both here?
(Shakespeare.
Richard III)
We
answer: archaic form of our calls should not be an aesthetic barrier
for the reader. The word which did not come down to the person and
not awaken him, is initially dead. Having missed some truth, he loses
his life into an equivalent size. Anyone who sees this truth as
outdated and useless dooms himself to equal insulation from eternal
life. Only that lives who gave the seed of life to the truth in this
world. Truth is the most effective amount of technology in the world,
its life currency, the best way to become rich.
Our
language was heavy coat
And
too smelled old.
(Vyazemskiy)
126
The
Bible contains a program, according to which the weighing of lives
and hearts of all beings occurs. Our book is a short reference
regarding the last days and offering a simple model of the world
during the period of the intermediate state, when the Judgment takes
pace the desert (Ezekiel 20:35-38). Although the experienced reader
will be inclined to take some of what we said with irony, appeal to
him not to lose time sounds more than serious.
As
the core, summer dies,
The
song is sung, drinking is prohibited.
In
the purple chariot
In
another edge it goes.
(Alim
Keshokov)
Song
is
complete contents of the book; as the summer is not easy, but belongs
to the Lord, you need to hurry and do not lose rate.
The
harvest is past, the summer is ended, and we are not saved.
(Jeremiah
8:20)
Both
Eastern scriptures and prophets of the Bible say that the end of our
time is the autumn harvest, ripening seeds for a future world where
human responsibility increases many times.
Then
saith he to his disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful but the laborers
are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out
laborers into his harvest.
(Matthew
9:37-38)
When
the harvest turns white (John 4:35), a second stage of the reaction
comes: all goes to dead stones, white as leprosy
spots
(se Old Testament). Now the search for the truth of words is over,
everything will be reduced to theorizing philosophies and schools,
and then to the earth church. These organizations will only benefit
from another's harvest. So it often happened in the past, including
the recent.
Give
me one summer, o the mighty,
Only
one fall to ripe song,
And,
by sweet game being filled,
I
meekly give in to death.
(Gelderlin.
To the park)
World
is an endless series of cycles of birth, development and decline.
Expected at the end of the world, second coming of Christ is in fact
the first coming of the next world period.
Here
is that which thou shalt offer upon the altar: two lambs annual
[blameless] every day constantly, one lamb you shall offer in the
morning, and the other lamb you shall offer in the evening ... and
with the same drink offering him a sweet savor, a sacrifice to the
Lord. This is a continual burnt offering throughout your generations
at the door of the tabernacle of the Lord.
(Exodus
29:38-42, cf. Eccl. 11:6)
You
can, of course, and give cause to go on as usual, lying on the stove
like Emelya.
Do
not worry, that pit will be
What's
the matter science dies:
The
field will be plowed itself,
Rye
will rise without the plow.
(N.
Zabolotsky)
After
crossing the desert
(the
dead zone) pleroma will work again itself, but that will not mean
reaching the land promised...
127
As
has often been repeated in New Testament texts, the apocalypse is
happening today. In order to know how to save, you need to understand
the devastating events actually happening all around us, to know the
objective cause of death of the world and to indicate its indirect
signs.
But
on that day the Lord shall beat off from the channel of the river
unto the stream of Egypt, and ye sons of Israel, shall be gathered
one by one.
(Isaiah
27:12)
Jewish
people (Israel, the Church), elected by God to do certain things,
going into a single beam, like rods, designed to punish.
Without
a lord there is no servants, and without servants - no lord.
Their
relationship is indissoluble, they are fused together.
(Panchatantra)
To
find the force acting in the world, performers are to be linked by
mutual responsibility. Hence come the constant fear, anxiety and
greed of the biblical Abraham, and all the chosen people. Yet these
loyal aides of God enthusiastically say:
The
single and peculiar life is bound,
With
all the strength and armour of the mind,
To
keep itself from noyance; but much more
That
spirit upon whose weal depend and rest
The
lives of many. The cease of majesty
Dies
not alone.
(Shakespeare.
Hamlet)
King
of Kings, Mighty God dwells among the 12 tribes of Israel (or,
equivalently, the 12 apostles of Christ) as the ark. The people
exercise community sacrament, receiving from God all his ideas and
inspiration. Jews reach full self-denial, having no own destiny, but
only realizing the supreme will expression (although, as we shall
see, in fact, their fate is a double ...).
By
his long intemperance
King
destroyed the royal flesh.
How
painful it is ... So he took to his bed?
(Shakespeare.
Richard III, cf. Rome. 6:6)
Indo-buddhistic
views enthusiastically describe the One God (Nirvana, the Body of the
Buddha) as an absolute infinite blessing, higher Radiance and
Pleasure; in Him there is no suffering, anxiety, illness, fear. But
in the end of times biblical God destroys the world, and the whole
system of such representations by His anger.
Faith,
no; as you may season it in the charge
You
must not put another scandal on him,
That
he is open to incontinency;
That's
not my meaning: but breathe his faults so quaintly
That
they may seem the taints of liberty,
The
flash and outbreak of a fiery mind,
A
savageness in unreclaimed blood,
Of
general assault.
(Shakespeare.
Hamlet)
Representing
God as a state of blissful consciousness, where no idea is
prohibited, we give a His naive idol-like description. When someone
wants cheap and easy salvation, he thinks about not pure divine
state, but the unbridled pleasure of narcotic buzz, and even without
hangover. God seems to move freely in space, without beginning,
devoid of any restrictions and competitors. No one can tame such a
leviathan, everything is possible for him. He extends his qualities
and attributes it to all through the lower portions of his Self which
are inextricably linked to the world.
The
cease of majesty
Dies
not alone; but, like a gulf, doth draw
What's
near it with it: it is a massy wheel,
Fix'd
on the summit of the highest mount,
To
whose huge spokes ten thousand lesser things
Are
mortised and adjoin'd; which, when it falls,
Each
small annexment, petty consequence,
Attends
the boisterous ruin. Never alone
Did
the king sigh, but with a general groan.
(Shakespeare.
Hamlet)
Since
all fates are merged, parlous state of the Jews (and therefore of the
whole world) is the disastrous state of their Lord. God is the soul
of the world, filling it (Talmud, Berachot). Every man is a particle
of manifested God and is associated with Him in the state of agony
and terrible torment. Own Self can be seen as individual or
collective, as a person, family or nation.
What
time came anyway: good luck, misfortune,
And
yet self-preservation is a law of kindness.
(Panchatantra)
Collective
salvation will never happen, but in the last times collective
extinction will begin. The trouble will be common to all, and
everyone should escape from it himself. Anyone who does not wish to
be saved and will remain passive, will be digested in this meat
grinder as cannon fodder, as a raw material for new worlds. Offer of
salvation is addressed to everyone,
although it is to be interpreted on different levels.
Yet
so far hath discretion fought with nature
That
we with wisest sorrow think on him,
Together
with remembrance of ourselves.
(Shakespeare.
Hamlet)
The
deceased is prince of this world, conquering the earth in the last
days, but being himself under authority of death law.
And
hell is bound by law?
Here's
the news! Well! Well, maybe
With
you one may enter into a contract?
(Goethe.
Faust)
All
go to hell because of the law which exists in the world, not in spite
of it. On the other hand, due to the same law every human being can
get in the door to improve their lot by turning it to his advantage.
Those who apply the law should not enter any contracts with anyone.
Warning of possible tragic mistakes, the Bible calls us to life, not
to death.
You
say, "We have made a covenant with death and an agreement with
hell did: when the overflowing scourge passes through, it will not
come to us - because we have made lies a haven for themselves and
deceit'll cover myself" ... And your covenant with death is
collapsing, and your agreement with hell shall not stand. When the
overflowing scourge shall pass, you will be trampled.
(Isaiah
28:15-18)
128
In
the last days, on earth, in the guise of ordinary people there live
elected representatives of all kinds, great leaders and patriarchs
who have immeasurable power. All souls who lived from the beginning,
are now gathered again on the earth, so many nodes are intertwined at
one point and each has a unique opportunity that will soon disappear.
In the words of the famous theologian, church teacher and heretic
Origen, just this world (aeon, age) is the end of the ages. Anyone
now is the king of his people, who is at the top of the colossal
ancestors' pyramid.
You
and your descendants belong to the Father who exists from the
beginning; this is from above, from the non-dying Light their souls
came. For this reason, the rulers can not come close to them, because
the Spirit of Truth is present in them. And all those who come to
knowing this, exist immortally among dying humanity.
(Hypostasis
of the Archons. Nag Hammadi)
Only
that belongs to Father's house and is his offspring, who moved to
this sonship state by own, and was not just elected is taken. The
evil rulers can not approach him, because he has the Spirit of truth,
and owing to knowledge of truth he gains immortality.
Do
not give up on my teaching or acquire ignorance, not to mislead their
people ... If a few good rules, as you see it, how much better
entitled, dominating every meeting and every nation, and in every way
you are exalted divine Logos, once you become a master of any force
that kills the soul.
(Teachings
of Silvanus. Nag Hammadi)
People
are
all ancestors, the whole race of the man. If the villain appears in
the race, the whole race is perished, and when a hero or saint, - the
whole race is saved (Exodus 20:5-6). In recent times, when the
benefit is almost completely used up, all is reduced to the rest of
the world fates, which is written as a personal destiny of one man -
the King Messiah. With such a burden he is born, embodying God and
being connected with the history of the world by an infinite number
of threads (Col. 1:19, 2:9).
I
am pointed by dusk
By
thousands of binoculars on the axis.
(Boris
Pasternak. Hamlet)
Every
action of this hero has a great meaning - dealing with his personal
salvation, he converts and saves entire world. In this (and not
subordination to the inert majority) is the true Christian
collegiality and communion sacrament.
All
of you, all of you -
you
were silent during your long life,
and
here you are shouting hundreds of votes
dead,
but alive,
in
me - the last, the poor,
but
having tongue for you,
and
every drop of blood
is
close to you, hears you:
and
now all of you:
cute,
silly, touching, intimate,
are
blessed by me
for
your tacit blessing
(M.
Kuzmin. My ancestors)
129
It
is in our watershed and split time, truth is extremely important.
Although we predict no signs of external disasters, the possibility
of salvation will be lost in the coming century. The truth will be
not needed: it will not save the lost and not kill the saved (cf.
Rev. 22:11). Active personal relationship, i.e. becoming like Christ,
gives us the last chance, and just now.
In
our age of desperate doubt
In
our age of patient by unbelief
When
shadows go thicker
On
wild world of the earth, -
Oh,
if only in a terrible division,
In
which we are destined to live,
There
is one
more
Revelation,
There
is a surviving link.
With
great mystery of the afterlife,
So
we see, believe it -
Departure
of the soul, which is like
to
you,
The
outcome from our darkness.
(F.
Tyutchev, cf. Jn. 17:11-16)
Citizens
of the third millennium, fed up with promises of a better future, can
not be satisfied by the seemingly understood historical eschatology
concept. It lies in the fact that it proposes to wait in vain unless
sometimes God or Christ appears, being called to reconcile and
correct all (Matthew 24:23-26). In fact, this appearance can only be
the arrival of the Antichrist (1 Jn. 4:3-4). The kingdom of God is in
the hearts, the apocalyptic Armageddon battle will take place on the
earth unnoticed. However, the person is required to have care in the
study of law, and the distinction of time.
With
less need of words, it is necessary to hear better
To
distinguish in the darkness measured motion of the Moment;
That
there are no signs either on earth or in the sky,
That
God-Savior did not come down to the people,
But
that the silent will take their lot!
(E.
Verhaeren)
Recall
here also the words of the prophet, promising, but invoking to the
responsibility:
Behold,
I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know
it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the
desert.
(Isaiah
43:19)
For
the appearance of God occurred in the observed (unreal, illusory)
world, one first needs to perform the corresponding work with the
text, on which our rivers just will flow. Of course, the word "I",
seriously spoken by anyone, refers only to God.
The
conventional wisdom is that this poetry
is
optimistic about the future.
But
the Father-mind says:
No
need to herald future!
It
is just now. This.
Your
deepest needs and desires
are
happy by energy of the moment
here,
in your hand.
(Rumi)

Hopefully,
in the next verses the reader will find not only a vague image of the
authors of the book, but also himself. This will allow him to
understand: he also lived and worked not in vain.
Last
days of desolation shall come,
Earthly
power shall turn suddenly;
Residues
of miserable generations will leave
To
heat and the sun, to the far south.
And
our towers, cities, strongholds
Will
suffer from the voice of Doomsday,
Winning
light does not shine in the desert,
Trains
do not thunder on rails.
But
in these last days of desolation
There
is - I know! - the brave among people.
He
will disturb sleep of proud buildings
Break
the silent darkness by the light.
Reading
names of mart and sanctuaries
Having
learned from the inscriptions the faces,
The
stranger will penetrate deep into the stacks,
Open
the mysteries of the ancients, our books.
And
day and night he will in trouble
Imbibe
broadcasting, hidden in the dust,
Search
for truth, the dream of God,
And
the songs - hymns to earth candy.
Wished
friend of unknown centuries!
You're
shaking, you're shocked by happened!
Give
heed to me, O hear these lines:
I
was, I thought, I was like smoke ...
(Bryusov.
During Desolation)
To
gain Nirvana/Moksha/Eternal Afterlife, you need an intense outlet out
of this physical you are confined to. Best way to go out is to go
through an intense death. Only through martyrdom, through intense
deaths throughout your various earthly lives, will you be fully be
able to get out of this cycle of unending suffering.
You
get crucified. You get beheaded. You get flayed alive. You get
slaughtered in a slaughterhouse built for you. You get eaten alive.
You become meal for the predators. Still you come back. Gaining
Enlightenment through Buddha and Mahavira method is just one of the
way to escape from this prison mentally, but you need physical escape
too.
Kill
yourself many times to become eternal. Only fools fear death.
There
is no easy way out of this.
What
is religion?
a
system of beliefs and practices (Worldviews) that provides values
(Ethics) to give life meaning and coherence (Purpose) by directing a
person toward transcendence (God/god)

Orthodoxy
vs Orthopraxy
Orthodoxy:
Orthodox
belief or practice. authorized or generally accepted theory,
doctrine, or practice.
Orthopraxy:
Correctness
or orthodoxy of action or practice. The belief that right action is
as important as religious faith.
Orthodoxy:
Five Articles of Faith
1.
The belief in only one God, whose messenger is Muhammad.
-He
has transcendent unknowability
-His
numerical oneness; Qur'an stresses that He is not Three
-The
unpardonable sin is associating any created thing with the
transcendent God (shirk).
2.
Belief in God's angels. There are four archangels:
-Jibra'il
(Gabriel), the agent of revelation
-Mika'il
(Michael), friend of the Jews
-Izra'il,
the angel of death
-Israfil,
who will blow the trumpet on the day of resurrection and judgment
There
are also jinns: invisible, intelligent spirits that can be good or
evil; they can sin/repent.
3.
Belief in God's inspired books.
God
has sent down inspired books for the guidance of peoples. Five are
mentioned in the Quran:
the
Scrolls of Abraham, now lost
The
Torah of Moses
The
Psalms of David
the
Gospels of Jesus
the
Qur'an of Muhammad
The
Quran is an exact copy of God's book in heaven, recited by Gabriel to
Muhammad.
As
the most recent, the Qur'an is most authoritative.
4.
Belief in God's prophets and messengers.
-God
guides humankind through His prophets
-The
Quran mentions 25 prominent prophets, of which 21 are biblical
figures.
-All
prophets had the same basic message: the oneness of Allah and
submission to His law.
-No
nation is without a witness, and so ignorance will excuse no one in
the day of judgment.
5.
Belief in life after death and the day of judgment.
-There
will be a last day. God will judge all men.
-Judgment
will be according to each man's works.
-Each
one will be rewarded if his good deeds outweigh the bad, or otherwise
punished.
-Reward
will lead to paradise; punishment to hell.
Orthopraxy:
Five Pillars of Practice
1.
The confession of faith.
When
done sincerely before a judge or two witnesses it suffices to make
one a Muslim.
2.
Five compulsory daily prayers
Prayer
facing Mecca and spoken in Arabic.
3.
Welfare contribution
2.5
% of one's wealth (though not compulsory in all communities)
4.
Fasting during Ramadan
Abstinence
from food and drink and from sexual relations from sunrise to sunset.
Exceptions are made for the young, the old, the infirm, and pregnant
women. Ramadan is the ninth month in the lunar calendar.
5.
Pilgrimage to Mecca - The Hajj
Once
in a lifetime obligation. Every step towards the Kaaba blots out a
sin.
The
origins of religion
•
Religion
originates from within the human person/culture (evolutionary, or
subjective)
or
•
Religion
originates from outside of human conscious (original monotheism)
Evolutionary
Approach
• As
human beings/culture has evolved so has the concept of religion.
4
Legitimate desires in life
•1.
Pleasure
•2.
Success
•3.
Duty
•4.
"infinite being, infinite awareness, infinite bliss"
-
When Atman (the divine within a person) is united to or equal to
Brahman (the infinite, formless god of the universe)
-
Liberation...
Moksha:
Hinduism's Ultimate Goal
-Existence
is a perpetual journey. The "escalator" begins as a single
cell, journeys through all life forms, ending with Moksha.
-Moksha:
release from existence; escape into the divine.
-Brahman-Atman
relationship is one: Infinite being, awareness, and bliss
Achieving
Moksha is achieving union with Brahman, the world soul.
Yogas:
Four Paths to Liberation
• Way
of Works
• Way
of Knowledge
• Way
of Devotion
• Way
of Experimentation
Way
of Works
=
Caste System
•
Brahmins
(priests)
•
Kshatriyas
(warrior, ruler)
•
Vaishyas
(merchants, artisans)
•
Shudras
(laborers, servants)
•
Untouchables
(not recognized as a caste, that low)
Way
of Knowledge
• Begun
by revolutionary kshatriyas in 6th century B.C.
• A
way focused on what we know rather than what we do
•
Upanishads:
("sitting under") central scripture
•
Identification
with Brahman through reflection:
-
Listening, to the sages and the scriptures
-
Thinking, about language, action, being
-
Becoming, letting the Atman within become "all-in- all"
Om:
The essence of Brahman is captured is the vocalization of Om.
Way
of Devotion
• Less
focus to works or asceticism and more to devotion.
•
Devotion
to one of the millions of Hindu gods
• Major
Catalyst for this movement: Bhagavad - Gita (200 BC - 800 AD)
•
Primary
form of Hinduism today
Ways
of experimentation
Combination
of first three paths. Using all three ways, instead of just one, to
achieve enlightenment.
Hinduism
in Summary
• A
religion born out of Indian history and way of life
• A
belief in millions of gods to worship
•
Though
behind all these gods is Brahman: World Soul
• Four
legitimate goals suggested for human life - Pleasure
-
Success
-
Duty toward others (community)
-
Ultimate Goal: Liberation from existence (moksha)
• Four
ways to achieve these goals: Works (karma), Knowledge (meditation,
OM), Devotion (or love of a particular god), Experimentation
(discover the Atman in oneself and it's connection to Brahman)
Buddhism
• Grew
out of Hinduism
•
Similar
to the "Way of Knowledge" yet of a different goal.
Land
of Buddha
Place:
NE India
Time:
6th Century BC
Siddhartha
Gautama
• Born
in 624 BC
-
Father was a great king
-
Lived a sheltered life
Gautama's
six year quest for liberation/enlightenment
The
Chariot Ride
• The
four sights:
-Old
Age
-Disease
-Death
-Religious
Affiliation
then
Renunciation...
"I
cut off my hair and beard, donned the yellow robe and went forth from
home to homelessness."
• For
five years he practiced extreme ascetism
-
Diet: one grain of rice/day or excrement
-
Chaffing clothing
-
Standing in odd positions for days
-
Sitting on a couch of thorns
-
Laying in a cemetery amid rotting bones
Enlightenment
at the Bodhi Tree
In
the 6th year of his quest he decides to eat a bowl of rice and sit at
the tree until he dies or is enlightened.
While
meditating, distracted by Mara (an evil Hindu god)
He
ignores Mara and begins to realize that he is trying too hard.
He
is desiring enlightenment too much.
He
forgoes desire, is enlightened, achieves Nirvana. Samsara is over.
Nirvana:
Life's Goal
•
means:
"to blow out or extinguish"
• But
what is extinguished?
•
Desire...
• thus
Nirvana is bliss
• To
be found in life and in death
The
Four Noble Truths
• The
truth of suffering (dukkha)
-
refers to anything that is temporary, conditional, or compounded of
other things. Even something precious and enjoyable is dukkha,
because it will end.
• The
truth of the cause of suffering (samudaya)
-
the cause of suffering is craving or thirst (tanha). We continually
search for something outside ourselves to make us happy. But no
matter how successful we are, we never remain satisfied.
• The
truth of the end of suffering (nirhodha)
-
through diligent practice, we can put an end to craving. Ending the
hamster-wheel chase after satisfaction is enlightenment (bodhi,
"awakened"). The enlightened being exists in a state called
Nirvana.
• The
truth of the path that frees us from suffering (magga)
-
in Buddhism there is no particular benefit to merely believing in a
doctrine. Instead, the emphasis is on living the doctrine and walking
the 8- Fold path.
The
Eight-fold path
The
8-fold path towards enlightenment: "a course of training, a
moral undertaking"
A
preliminary step: right association.
E=Effort
(right effort)
V=View
(right view)
I=Intention
(right intention)
L=Living
(right livelihood)
S=Speech
(right speech)
C=Concentration
(right concentration)
A=Action
(right action)
M=Mindfulness
(right mindfulness)
Mahayana
(:big boat) understanding of Enlightenment
•
Enlightenment
is not finding oneself in extinction of desire, as Buddha taught...
• But
true enlightenment comes in finding oneself in absolute compassion
