Chakra, sometimes spelled Cakra or Cakka, is any center of subtle body believed to be a psychic-energy center in the esoteric traditions of Indian religions.
The concept is found particularly in the tantric traditions of Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism. They are conceived as an energy focal point, bodily functions or psychic node in the subtle body. The Chakra theories are an elaborate part of the Kundalini system. These theories differ between the Indian religions, with esoteric Buddhist literature mentioning four Chakras, while esoteric Hindu texts stating seven. They are believed to be part of the subtle body, not the physical body, and connected by energy channels called Nadi. In the Kundalini version of yoga, breath exercises focus, in part, on mastering and channeling energy through Chakras.
Blocked energy in our seven chakras can often lead to
illness, so it's important to understand what each chakra represents and
what we can do to keep this energy flowing freely. Here's our quick

How to move up your chakras
Most jivas are not able to stay on higher planes of consciousness, so they need to start from the lowest chakras, and move up. Start with the root chakra. Indulge in anal pleasures. Indulgence is the keep. Do anal sex. Get fucked up the ass. Enjoy taking a shit. You will reach a point when you will get bored and sick of anal orgasms. Time to move up to Sacral chakra. Repeat what you did with root. Indulge, Indulge, Indulge! If you have a vagina, then lots of vaginal sex. If you are male, then lots of penis stimulations. Time to move up to Solar Plexus. Repeat. Enjoy eating. Eat lots of food. Worship your stomach. You will then reach a point when you will get bored of food. Time to move up. Heart Chakra. It is obvious what you need to do. Indulge in love. Fall in love, even if it is one sided. Fall in love with one person. Fall in love with different people. Worship celebrities. Worship deities. Love everyone around you. Time to move up. Throat chakra. Indulge in talking, screaming, singing. Be eloquent. Be confident. Drink. Get bored, and move to a higher chakra. Third Eye & Crown Chakras. These are the key chakras, that will force you out of samsara into permanent bliss of Nirvana, of moksha. Intuition, imagination, wisdom and the ability to think and make decisions; spirituality and pure bliss.
The third eye chakra is the sixth chakra. Located on the forehead, between the eyebrows, it is the center of intuition and foresight. The function of the third eye chakra is driven by the principle of openness and imagination.
Third eye chakra meaning
The fifth chakra is referred to as:- Third eye chakra
- Brow chakra
- Ajna chakra
- Bhru Madhya
- Dvidak Padma
This chakra is related to the “supreme element”, which is the combination of all the elements in their pure form.
Yogic meaning of the 3rd eye chakra
In yogic metaphysics, the third eye or Ajna chakra, is the center
where we transcend duality – the duality of a personal “I” separate from
the rest of the world, of a personality that exists independently from
everything else.As Harish Johari says, “a yogi who has passed through the Vishuddha Chakra at the throat to the Ajna Chakra transcends the five elements and becomes freed (mukta) from the bondage of time-bound consciousness. This is where the I-consciousness is absorbed into super-consciousness.” (Harish Johari: Chakras: Energy Centres of Transformation).
Third eye chakra color
The third eye chakra is most commonly represented with the color purple or bluish purple. The auric color of third eye chakra energy can also be seen as translucent purple or bluish white.Rather than by its color, it is characterized by the quality of its luminescence or soft radiance that reminds us of the moon light.
Third eye chakra symbol
The image of the Third Eye chakra symbol contains two elements frequently associated with wisdom: the upside down triangle and the lotus flower.Third eye chakra location
The most commonly accepted location for the sixth chakra is between the eyebrows, slightly above at the bridge of your nose. Contrary to a common misconception, it is not located in the middle of the forehead, but between the eyes where the eyebrows would meet. It can also be described as being located behind the eyes in the middle of the head. Note that secondary chakras run along the midline of the forehead, but the third eye chakra is typically located lower.
The Third eye chakra is associated to the pineal
gland in charge of regulating biorhythms, including sleep and wake time.
It’s a gland located in the brain that is a center of attention because
of its relationship with the perception and effect of light and altered
or “mystical” states of consciousness. It’s positioned close to the
optical nerves, and as such, sensitive to visual stimulations and
changes in lighting.
Because it connects us with a different way of seeing and perceiving, the third eye chakra’s images are often hard to describe verbally. It puts us in touch with the ineffable and the intangible more closely. Third eye visions are also often more subtle than regular visions: They may appear a bit “blurry”, ghost-like, cloudy, or dream-like. Sometimes however, the inner visions might be clear like a movie playing in front of your eyes.
Behavioral characteristics of the Third eye chakra
The third eye chakra is associated with the following psychological and behavioral characteristics:- Vision
- Intuition
- Perception of subtle dimensions and movements of energy
- Psychic abilities related to clairvoyance and clairaudience especially
- Access to mystical states, illumination
- Connection to wisdom, insight
- Motivates inspiration and creativity

The third eye chakra is associated with the archetypal dimensions, as well as the realm of spirits.
The Crown chakra
The crown chakra is the center for trust, devotion, inspiration, happiness, and positivity. It's also the center for deeper connection with ourselves and deeper connection with a force of life that is greater than ourselves. For this reason, it can be quite useful to have tools to open the crown chakra. Here are three of my favorites that will have this chakra open in no time!
1. Get inspired.
One way to open the crown chakra is through inspiration. For example, think of a music concert that you attended or a song you love. Remember how that made you feel. If you enjoyed the concert or song you probably felt uplifted, inspired, open and positive. That is the feeling of the open crown. To open the crown chakra you can listen to inspiring music, take a walk in nature, read an uplifting poem, or see a gorgeous sunset. Anything that brings you inspiration will open your crown chakra. Take a moment to reflect on what brings you inspiration. Be sure to include some inspiration in your daily life in order to keep the crown chakra open.
2. Practice affirmations
A second way to open the crown chakra is through the use of inspiring affirmations. For example, repeat this affirmation to yourself:
I am open and expanded.
I expand my idea of what is possible.
As I expand my idea of what is possible, I help to bring it in.
I am open and expanded.
Become aware now of the open, expanded feeling at the top of your head. Again, this is the feeling of the open crown chakra. Repeat inspiring affirmation through out the day as a way to keep the crown chakra open.
3. Visualize.
A third way to open the crown chakra is through visualization. Take a moment now and image a golden orb of light filling the top of your head. See this golden orb of light growing and expanding. Imagine it is elevating your thoughts and filling you with a feeling of positivity. Imagine streams of golden light coming from the top of your head, connecting you up into the heavens. Feel an open and expanded feeling at the top of your head. Feel your oneness and unity with all of life. Feel your connection to a force of life greater than yourself. Affirm: I am connected to a force of life greater than myself. Feel this connection and know that you are never alone.
As you hold this vision you are helping to open the crown chakra and strengthening your connection with a force of life that is greater than yourself.
As you can see, learning to open your crown chakra is a very valuable tool. Work with these tools daily in order to feel greater inspiration, trust, positivity, and connection to a force of life that is greater than your self.
